Ghost - Ceremony and Devotion - Itunes.

I cannot wait for the physical album of the new GHOST live album CEREMONY AND DEVOTION.
Very Depeche Mode Sounding title isnt it? And Ghost surely are DM fans.

So anyway, I got the Itunes version first of this.
I will review it properly once I got the physical cd.

As usual when it comes to Ghost, do not be gullible or rush for their new releases.

There will hopefully be different versions with extra songs especially for the Swedish pressings and if the Japanese have their own pressings.





Nak cakap fanatik, tidaklah, tapi aku minat giler band ni lepas tengok dorang main live jadi band pembukaan bagi show Iron Maiden.
Dari tak tahu lagu2 dorang, terus minat giler.
Dan macam sapa baca blog ni, aku kalau nak beli rilisan Ghost, aku pelan2 cek dulu, pasal band puaka ni memang lain2 cetakan lain2 packaging dan isi dalam rilisan tu.

So kena hati2...  Album ni kalau keluar bentuk fizikal akan ada dua cd sebanyak 15 lagu.
Jepun nye pressing belum umum lagi.
Tapi speku nye ada rilisan 17 lagu nye jugak...

So.....  jangan gelojoh untuk sapa2 peminat Ghost yang teruja nak beli ori live album ni.

Iron Maiden Fan Club Mag #107 and 2017 Christmas Card design

Salam and greetings to all.
A quick one, I will just type all in English.

Iron Maiden Fan Club Magazine number 107 is out and it comes with the 2017 Christmas Card which is simply awesome.



So this is how the Xmas card looks like.
It follows the 1983 Piece Of Mind inside cover of the band at the dining table...
and there is a lot of references to different Iron Maiden songs, albums, themes and whatsoever.

I JUST HOPE THAT BLOODY AXE MEANS KILLERS WILL BE PLAYED NEXT TOUR.
and the Samurai sword could mean for the first time in history, Sun And Steel will be played live next year!!!

And also the inside of the card, with the signatures and Eddie's scribe...





The magazine as often, is about 48 pages full colour.
Interesting is most of the band's live photos in this magazine is shots from 2013 Maiden England Tour with the Seventh Son theme and stage design.
So this could mean that the LEGACY OF THE BEAST TOUR will be heavy with the 1988 era songs.
I just hope bloody Infinite Dreams will be played this time.
And speaking of the new tour, Estonia Tallinn show which is the opening night is already reportedly SOLD OUT.
A number of shows across Europe are on the verge of selling out,
and the tour is like more than 6 months in the future... Its crazy....
and that is why it helps being a fan club member to get advance ticket sales before the general public get it which by then you can kiss your tickets goodbye.
I got a standing ticket for this show the opening show of Legacy Of The Beast, I just hope I can be there, HELL!!! I CANNOT EVEN LOCATE ESTONIA ON THE WORLD MAP!!!! But I will try my best to be there humanly possible backpacking alone mission. I think. LOL!!
and its going to be the holy month of RAMADHAN... well... even more challenging!!!

a fantastic photo from surely this is Donington 2013... A glorious but SCARY rainy muddy hell situation when Iron Maiden was playing... and the wind was so strong that Iron Maiden sound system has no chance LOL!! but its ok where I was...

I am somewhere in that audience.. LOL!!!!  but knowing all the dark history of Donington, and it was the 25th Anniversary of the two deaths in 1988 when Iron Maiden were headlining though the death happen in the day during GnR set, and then it was my first time ever in Donington, and this is Western Festival and not some South East Asia music festival, it did get intimidating thru out the days and nights of that unforgettable weekend.

WASP - REIDOLIZED Itunes review

Been a long time.. so a quick one, first in English then in Bahasa Melayu Malay Language.





A quick one.
Reidolized was released on Itunes (at least where I am) on midnight 2nd Feb 2018.

So it was midnight that I download it as I am very excited of this and here is my review.

I have no intention of getting the so-called 4 disc version as I have no interest on the movie. I think its just a 1992 footages and 2012 live footages of Wasp playing this full album.

But all I want is the music. I listen to the previews and I like it so much of these RE-RECORDINGS of the full album of CRIMSON IDOL PLUS SIX NEW TRACKS which makes Crimson Idol story more dramatic, more thrilling. All the musicians have changed since 1992 so on Reidolized you have Doug Blair.
Take note one song is a new version of Miss You from Golgotha. So this is very confusing why the song appeared on Golgotha if its supposed to be the missing puzzles to Crimson Idol.

Doug Blair plays on the live versions of Crimson Idol songs taken from Donington 1992 which is very popular both on the Crimson Idol 2cd version from 1998 and the live footages of Donington 1992 found on Youtube.

Anyway, the Japanese version of ReIdolized will be out in March. There will be a 2cd version only without the movie discs of DVD or Blueray..
I may get that one, to partner the Japanese pressing of the Crimson Idol 2cd which I had shown the packagings previously..

I like the re-recordings of the songs, I HAVE ONLY ONE COMPLAINT!!
Blackie Lawless is becoming an angel, so some lyrics have been changed.
For example... "I am cock sucking asshole " from Chainsaw Charlie Murders In The Rue Morgue changed to " I am blood sucking rathole" or something.

Anyway, its a small matter of sanitization... Other than that.. This is a superb concept album.

If anyone is to ask me what is a Concept album? or any music album with a story...

of course I would point to Seventh Son of a Seventh Son and Operation Mindcrime as the necessaries but I will also say about Crimson Idol and ReIdolized.

It has everything... fast songs, slow songs, lots of beautiful memorable melodies being played all over again thru out the whole album...  and there is a moral to it. Though it still ends on a bitter sad note.

Jonathan still commit suicide. No change. And yes he still never receive any love from his parents on this new version.

Apa pun, rasanya ramai tak minat re-recordings ni semua kan, sebab selalu nya album ori dah gerek. Tapi....SILA BAGI PELUANG KAT REIDOLIZED, aku tak bedek ni album memang terbaik dari ladang. Contoh macam aku link youtube kat atas tu versi Murders In The New Morgue baru.

Jadi musicians semua baru, drums, bass dan tentunya gitars dan sound juga.
Tapi suara Blackie Lawless memang sedap giler.kat ni album sama macam album ori dulu 1992.

OK macam aku cerita kat atas, aku tunggu tengah malam ok 2/2/2018 tu hari nak donlod album ni.

Kenapa aku donlod dan tak beli album physical kalau aku minat giler?????

PASAL AKU DAH TAK SABAR!!! hahaha... Aku tahu ni album akan gerek dan aku sanggup keluar duit.
Lagipun aku tak minat wayang dia... Wayang ni rakaman beratus? berpuluh? jam rakaman videos untuk gambarkan album Crimson Idol dari zaman 1992, akhirnya siap dan campur dengan WASP main live album ni tahun 2012.
So aku kureng sikit kan, pasal aku pun takde masa nak duk ngadap tengok video video ni... aku dengar album ni pun masa aku jalan kaki, tunggu bas, tunggu train, dalam bas, dalam train...

Tapi mungkin aku akan sambar Jepun nye pressing album ni nanti keluar bulan 3. Entah apasal Jepun nye pressing lambat...
Jepun nye ada macam2 version ReIdolized ni... so aku nak 2cd version nak kembarkan ngan Crimson Idol 2cd aku Jepun nye cam kat atas tu aku kasi link review.

OK, lagi satu ni album Blackie Lawless dah BERTAUBAT tak mau maki!! haha..
Buto ah!!! Aku speku dekni orang Donald Trump....
Penyokong kuat dakyah kulit putih yang terbaik dalam segalanya......
Tapi well... aku maafkan dia pasal aku suka WASP!!! hahaha...

Jadi ada perubahan lirik kalau dengar betul2 dalam lagu Chainsaw Charlie atas tu..

tapi tu takde masalah untuk aku, pasal rakaman lagi sekali ni memang Terbaik Dari Ladang!!!!

So sapa minat WASP... sila beli..

Sapa minat satu dua lagu dari Crimson Idol dengar dulu2... sila beli..

Sapa suka rock.. sila beli

Sapa suka heavy metal ... sila beli...

Sapa nak dengar lagu2 sedap, melodi2 sedap seluruh album... sila beli..

Sapa nak tahu apa tu konsep album? sila beli...

Sapa nak jadi ibu bapa yang baik, sapa yang nak bina keluarga bahagia... sila beli...

Jangan jadi macam ibu bapa $&%#(@ dalam album ni... kesian siak si anak... last2 gantung diri pakai string gitar atas stage.

Rentak - Art Fazil

My Review/Ulasan. First in English then in Bahasa Melayu Malay Language.



Singapore's (and Malaysia's) Folk rock singer, performer, producer and extraordinaire songwriter and lyricist Art Fazil who is very well versed in both Malay and English, release his new album "Rentak" 
and its a no brainer, when he release an album, you go to the shop where the CD is available and purchase it, no questions asked.
Because you know its going to be very good, at least. And on this one, its simply earmarked as Malay Album of the Year 2018 for me. Simply magnificient especially for those starving for a high quality Singapore local album and a high quality Bahasa Melayu album.

On this album, 7 of the 8 songs are sung in Bahasa Melayu and one is in English about the undisputed, most loved sportsman ever in Singapore's history, footballer Fandi Ahmad.

Its a happy album, up tempo and slow songs. If you know of Rausyanfikir or Art Fazil previous solo releases, like I say its a no brainer, buy the CD or download the paid version.

Macam aku cakap, Art Fazil kalau keluar album baru, terus gi kedai beli CD. Tak payah banyak colok.
Tak kira la korang suka dangdut ke, electronic pop ke, heavy rock ke, heavy metal ke...
Tak payah disangkal lagi kehebatan rilisan Art Fazil.

Jadi album ni macam gembira je kan,

pasal lepak, pasal jangan cepat marah, pasal rilek, pasal suka awek yang pergi macam lipas kudung, pasal cicak kobeng, pasal suasana banjir, pasal raya, pasal orang melayu kat negeri omputeh (walau Art Fazil tak sebut pasal lapar nasik tapi dia cakap pasal sambal tumis,) , ada reference kepada Loloq dalam korus lagu, ada takbir raya (ohh ye, first song dan last share same melody but lain liriks dan masing2 ada nasik tambah kat lagu masing2) dan satu lagu Inggeris... macam momentum keretapi lagu ni , pasal Fandi Ahmad.
Dan ni membawa kepada soalan - Apasal aku tak simpan CD Fandi "Anugerah" sekarang mana nak carik kan??

So apa lagi nak cakap kan?
Juara Lagu tu hari... satu lagu pun aku tak tahu...
Kecuali Dayang Nurfaizah, lain performer satu haram aku tak tahu..
dan aku tak rasa aku rugi apa2 pun tak mau ambik tahu..

aku cuma concern adakah betul 8 April ada show Juara Juara Rock lima lima band kat KL.

Dan album Art Fazil ni, adalah pengisi kekosongan album Melayu yang terbaik, dan tentunya ni album terbaik 2018 kalau takdeperal, dan lagu Lipas Kudung akan jadi feberet song aku tahun ni.
Jangan terkeliru dengan judul album Lipas Kudung.

Entah berjaya ke tak plan aku nak backpack untuk tour ni..  aku masih nervous Scandinavia Ramadhan Summer time puasa 20 jam lebih kot.. haha...

oo... Venom Inc dan Rage, aku rasa kirim salam aku kerja hari kejadian tu, rugi lak nak ambil leave. Nak simpan tuk Iron Maiden. Tiket pun aku nasib belum beli...

Tapi aku rindu blog ni... so gigih ku kan kembali bersiaran soon.

STEVE HARRIS focus on camera I took @ the 2017 Liverpool show during the start of Powerslave solo

A bit on Steve Harris (Iron Maiden's bass player and maestro ) first in English then in Bahasa Melayu Malay Language.

I took a short video focussing only on Steve Harris at Liverpool (Echo Arena on 17 May 2017 I believe thats the date ) when I backpack for the UK part of the 2017 section of the Book Of Soul World Tour.
Its something for me to cherish and I upload it on youtube.


It shows a bit of what Steve Harris (and Iron Maiden) is about live.
The DETERMINATION!!, always giving 666% to prove how good they are, performing amazing music live, giving all they got, showmanship, giving fans value for money (and thats why I keep putting myself in life difficult situations as to able to backpack to see Maiden play at different places), and showing himself as a human being with adjusting his hair, and keep wiping his perspiration and sweat all the while..
The Energy given by the audience to the band is addictive. You can fill the energy of the whole audience and the love for the band.

And the trick is this, one person goes to see Maiden plays and see how good and determine Steve Harris (and the rest of Iron Maiden) is, they go back, and tell their family and friends and colleagues or school friends.

When the next time Maiden comes to play, that same person will bring his/her whole family, and friends and colleagues and neighbours and school mates.
So you will have the most youngest little boys and girls, school children, teenagers, adults, and to the oldest grandfathers and grandmothers.

The persons he or she bring along will continue that DOMINO EFFECT and repeat it next time.
Thats why Maiden is getting bigger and bigger and bigger and they surely have not much time left. Every Show could be the last. But thats how their legacy is - PURELY WORDS OF MOUTH from person to person.

Sweet Memories...




Video atas ni aku rakam masa kat Liverpool tahun lepas. 
Saje je rakam Steve Harris kejap buat kenangan. So aku share kat sini la.

Patut dengan kejayaan mereka, mereka boleh relak, tapi tetap.. Iron Maiden setiap show buat persembahan macam mereka masih remaja, nak cuba buktikan betapa hebat dan bagus nya mereka bermain music live dan lagu2 yang gerek.

Sebab tu macam aku cakap kat atas, peminat yang datang akan cakap "wow.. bersungguh2 band ni main, sangat hebat dan penonton semua keluarkan energi positif dan macam tengok bola tapi semua orang bersorak sokong untuk satu pasukan aje.. dan semua macam famili beribu2 ni".
tak kira lelaki , perempuan dari budak sampai orang tua. Walau tak pernah dengar pun lagu Iron Maiden, tapi tak tipu, siapa yang pergi akan tertarik..

Bila better half aku first time pertama kali dia tengok Iron Maiden, aku gelak gila bila abis show dia cakap "Lagu Fear Of The Dog best la tadi ".. hahahaha...

Macam ramai orang Melayu, Iron Maiden ni jenama terkenal. Tahu lagu dorang atau tak tahu, tu lain cerita,
tapi brand name Iron Maiden ni sangat kuat pengaruh dia di kalangan orang Melayu dan kebanyakkan rumah ye tak?

So balik kepada isi padu blog kali ni, Maka, setiap orang tengok Iron Maiden main, balik rumah dan besok nya, akan cerita pasal persembahan mereka kat satu keluarga, kawan kerja, kawan sekolah.

Dan lain kali Iron Maiden main, makin ramai nak tahu, dan nak pergi..  Apa tu daya tarikan dan kenapa Positive Energy je yang peminat yang datang tengok band ni beraksi??

Iron Maiden macam aku cakap tadi, akan main bersungguh2 dan penuh semangat macam nak buktikan sesuatu...
yang datang tadi akan tertarik dan terpikat, mereka pun akan peminat, dan lain kali akan bawak lain orang.. lagi ahli keluarga, kawan2 kerja, kawan2 sekolah...

Jadi tu pasal dari paling budak2 kecik lelaki pompuan, budak sekolah lelaki pompuan, orang dewasa lelaki pompuan, orang tua lelaki pompuan..

jadi iron Maiden ni akan berkembang dan berkembang... mudah... walaupun aku speku, tak lama dah, dan aku rasa memang betul, setiap show mereka mungkin yang terakhir pasal memang apa pun boleh terjadi dah kat salah seorang mereka. 

Dan macam aku cerita masa aku kat Aberdeen, orang2 perempuan baru balik kerja gitu, semua ngan pakaian ofis dengan beg makcik2 kakak2 gitu...
Diri dekat ngan aku, masa semua dah berasak nak tunggu Iron Maiden main.

Korang tahu, dorang tengah bincang pasal stage set, dorang cerita pasal lighting rig mana akan buat apa , pasal ada rig lampu warna spotlight Iron Maiden kat bumbung akan buat pergerakkan sepanjang show. Lepas tu keluarkan henfon dari beg, dan ambik2 gambo lighting rig Iron Maiden.

Dan mereka ialah makcik2 kakak2 office dan ni kat Aberdeen!! Aberdeen dah kira tempat jin bertendang giler, dah la sejuk giler... memang tempat challenging untuk aku backpack sorang2 tengok Iron Maiden dalam keadaan ikat perut.

So tu la menariknya kalau tengok gelagat peminat2. Ni ingatkan aku masa aku pernah tengok Deep Purple main kat Fort Canning, makcik2 kakak2 Melayu punya la banyak, 
dan hati2 dengan mereka, ni semua rockers zaman rock 70an dulu ye hahahaha...
Dorang start cerita pasal Deep Purple , terdiam ah semua dengar kagum. hahah.

So tu je... sila tengok video aku ni...   Giler aku suka part Steve Harris kesat2 peluh..

p.s aku dah cakap dah dengan famili aku, cita cita mat jenin aku ialah...

kalau Iron Maiden main dorang nye show terakhir.. mungkin kat Olympic Stadium London pasal tu stadium West Ham pakai kan sekarang..

Aku cakap "' kita kena pergi!!"".. mampos aku nangis nangis nanti masa show.. haha.

angan mat jenin la kan.. tapi well...... haha.

Jugulator/ 98Live-Meltdown/ Demolition/ Live in London (Japan versions) - Judas Priest (Tim Ripper Owen Years)

Hi as usual.. first in English then finished up in Bahasa Melayu Malay Language.

Warning I will lump up quite a number of photos to show the packagings of all these cds so this post is quite long.



I think I will wait for midnite 9 of March to check out Judas Priest new album Firepower on itunes.
I think it will be very good (I Hope).



This is my short review/opinion/ show-off/ ulasan of the four albums that Judas Priest released during the Tim Ripper Owens years (1997 - 2003) where the line up is
-Tim Ripper Owens
-KK Downing
-Glenn Tipton
-Ian Hill
-Scott Travis

I realise I like Ripper Owens singing the older Rob Halford songs, and the two studio albums (Jugulator & Demolition) has a number of wonderful songs. These four albums are worth having.

These are the Japanese pressings/versions.. so as usual when it comes to Japanese pressings of CDs
they are just More Cute, More Pretty than regular ones...
with sometimes extra songs, and better packagings with fancy beautiful Obi Strips and also extra booklets for the Japanese text and lyrics translations.

So lets start with first album..Jugulator (1997)
Ten Songs
Most songs written by Tipton/Downing. All lyrics by Tipton (surprisingly).
Very modern metal sounding, but I love some of the songs like Blood Stained, Death Row, Burn In Hell, Abductors, the single Bullet Train and the last song, a long song called Cathedral Spires.

I got some problems listening to it the first time, but then its ok as I was expecting a normal regular Judas Priest album but not so.

So I give this album a nice 7.5/10.



The Metal God is back!!!





next is the live double album recorded during the Jugulator tour.
Its called 98 Live - Meltdown (1998)

Now we're talking... these shows seems recorded in lots of places but its sound continuous and fun.

24 songs.. of which 6 are from Jugulator.
The rest are classic Judas Priest and sometimes I feel Ripper Owens versions on the two live albums he record with Judas Priest is as good or even superior to Rob Halford versions of the older songs.

Some I listen more are - the new songs from Jugulator live versions are simply superior to studio version, Diamonds and Rust, Touch Of Evil, NIGHT CRAWLER.

So this live album I will give it a 9/10. I cannot give more as Live In London is perfection.














moving on to the next studio album..  DEMOLITON (2001)

This is for me a superior album to Jugulator because they play a more traditional Judas Priest Style Heavy Metal.
Some songs are modern but mostly are classic heavy metal so I love songs like One On One, Hell is Home is amazing, Blood Suckers, In Between, SUBTERFUGE is another amazing one and it has at least two beautiful slower songs Close To You and Lost And Found.

Again, all songs are either Tipton or Tipton /Downing majority.

I will give this album a generous 8.5/10










Oooo it even have some pretty stickers...


lastly the final one... and the best one out of all...

the double cd Live In London (2002).

26 songs!! of both classics and new ones. And this is the full version NOT the DVD version which has less songs.
You even got Desert Plains.
The most amazing version ever.
I simply love this song...

Simply a Wonderful setlist of the songs on both Live In London and 98 Live Meltdown...
which gives me hours and hours of Judas Priest favourites live sung by Ripper Owens which I say is as good as Rob Halford if not superior.

And as for the music, no argument. Songs like Painkiller and I feel my teeth twitching and grinding by itself. LOL!!

So a perfect 10/10 for this double cd version of Live in London. About 26 songs. More than 2 hrs of Judas Priest style heavy metal.

Hai semua...
hah... aku Majmuk kan sekali 4 cd review.. Pasal nanti aku ni suka sambung2 last2 semua benda tak abis...
Serious berbual aku nak sambung aku backpacking tengok band rock pun tak boleh game dari tahun ke tahun... so now, aku buat blog pun tak sekerap dulu, so kena tukar taktik.

Walau cuma berapa orang je baca pun, iaitu korang, tapi sebenarnya aku buat blog ni untuk syok sendiri. Ni la tempat peluang aku tulis baik bahasa English atau Bahasa Melayu walaupun tak betul.. cuma kalau korang perasan, aku sedar aku dah kurang maki hamun dan guna perkataan lucah.
HAHA...     kot tu semua simpan kot, sekali lepas.... terus penuh satu blog haha.

OK macam aku cakap kat atas, aku review / ulasan, beri pendapat pandangan empat album (dua studio, dua live double cd masing masing), yang mana Judas Priest gunakan khidmat Tim Ripper Owens untuk nyanyi lepas Rob Halford tinggalkan dorang jadi penyanyi solo zaman 90an dulu.

Walaupun apabila Judas Priest bermain live di sini berapa tahun lepas ialah Rob dan aku tak pernah tengok Ripper Owens nyanyi tapi aku suka sangat dia kat Judas Priest jadi aku memiliki semua empat cd cetakan Jepun yang dikeluarkan masa dia bersama Judas Priest.

Jugulator - macam modern gitu, memang terkejut pasal Glen Tipton dan KK sebagai kepala Judas Priest cuba buat perubahan sound dan cara tulisan lagu. Jadi ada menjadi , ada aku suka, dan ada aku tak paham. Tapi still ok.

98 Live Meltdown - Terbaik dari ladang... Suara Ripper Owens live nyanyi lagu Judas Priest memang juara, sebaik Rob Halford. Dan lebih 20++ lagu baru dan lama yang best.

Demolition - rata2 ni Judas Priest kembali main style Heavy Metal mereka dan aku suka sangat kebanyakkan nya macam aku cakap atas.

Live In London  - ni 26 lagu yang sangat hebat. Mungkin album terbaik live Judas Priest aku akan pilih album ni. Kelakar pasal bukan Rob Halford pun nyanyi.
Macam aku cakap kat atas... masa aku dengar lagu Painkiller versi kat sini,gigi aku ngilu macam aku gi jumpa doktor gigi.

Dah tu je bye, kita tunggu 9hb Mac genap 12 malam, Judas Priest akan keluar, aku speku aku akan terus download pakai Itunes. Aku speku akan terbaik album baru dan aku speku terakhir Judas Priest walau sapa pun pemuzik dan penyanyi nya.

Firepower - Judas Priest (Itunes)

A short review/opinion/ulasan/pendapat on my happiness on the new Judas Priest album Firepower.
First in Broken English then in Bahasa Melayu Pasar.



I downloaded it on the night its released on Itunes. As I cannot wait any longer.
So I dont have much idea about the details that cd inlets usually carry.
I know its Tom Allom/Andy Sneap combination at work.

Probably this is the last Judas Priest studio album.
And what a way to leave something for the fans to remember.
Judas Priest is literally" ALL GUNS BLAZING!!!"on this album.

Fast songs, lots of melodies, amazing guitar solos, lots of melodies, heavy, lots of melodies, time changes.
And from what I try to listen, the lyrics are beautiful.

I would say I only do not like much one song, " Necromancer ", yet this song has an amazing what is probably a Glen/Ritchie/Glen/Ritchie solos.

Other songs are spectacular. I really like Flame Thrower, No Surrender, Never The Heroes , Sea of Red and the Guardian/Rising From Ruins combination with that Piano intro.
Basically I love 13 of the 14 songs.

The first few songs are very good and after Necromancer I expect the album to have a drop in standard but the momentum of amazing songs continue until the last epic song with that acoustic intro.

A very good Heavy Metal album. 
Maybe on more listenings it will be as lovable as Painkiller or even Defenders Of The Faith albums.
Probably I will buy the physical album next time, waiting for those additional songs/live songs releases.

More reviews on Judas Priest especially the deluxe albums releases, live review, bootlegs I taped myself on this band..

KEGELOJOHAN aku ketara....

tak sabar tunggu rilisan album ni pada malam ia keluar kat tenet secara rasmi.
Terus donlod.
Terus aku fikir , siot nye Judas Priest , lagu2 yang dorang promo keluar awal semua sedap tapi lagu2 dalam album ni yang lain lagi lagi sedap lagi..

Jadi tak disangkal album ni start sampai abis semua lagu sedap kecuali aku ada kurang sikit lagu Necromancer tapi macam aku cakap kat atas, lagu ni tetap gerek masuk gitar solo dia,
dia selang seli empat kali kot Glen dengan Ritchie.
Satu trademark Judas Priest dari dulu dorang suka tukar2 solo dua gitaris selang seli.
Tapi kadang2 melampau macam Sentinel sampai 7 kali. HAHA.

OK ada lagu laju......., lagu slow, semua heavy la kan...  
Melodies merata2 album ni so sapa suka Judas Priest Style Heavy Metal memang seronok la kan.

Aku konfiden sapa minat lagu rock mesti suka album ni dari start sampai abis.

Kena dengar setiap lagu. Kalau boleh liriks dia sekali.

Cantik2 ayat2 lirik dia dari apa yang aku boleh dengar dan fahamkan. Mungkin ada time boleh masuk tenet baca lirik satu satu... HAFAL!!! aha.

Lagu terakhir tu Sea Of Red tu mungkin lagu baru terakhir Judas Priest, cantik giler lagu ni terutama intro dia, lembut je.... sedih je....

Last aku perasan masa Judas Priest main kat sini dulu , yang Lamb Of God menyibuk jadi double headliner tu hahaha...
Aku perasan Glen Tipton dah mula kasi banyak ruang kat Ritchie Faulkner, RF macam ambik spotlights bila solos...
dan aku masih nak tahu apa melodi dia main masa dia solo masa nak abis You Got Another Thing Coming masa persembahan konsert tersebut.

dan album ni pun aku perasan RF macam lawan tokey gitu kannn.

Tapi memang fresh giler album ni....

Aku tak bedek kan, ni album gerek giler.
ooo piano kat Guardians tu meleleh.....

So sambil tunggu studio album terbaru Ghost nanti, ni album jadi layanan untuk album2 baru dalam walkman aku..

lain2 pasal Judas Priest nye rilisan, terutama deluxe editions, rilisan jepun mereka, review live, bootlegs dorang aku tape...

Review - Legacy of the Beast TALLINN ESTONIA 27 May 2018 - Iron Maiden opening show of 2018 new tour.

A quick observation / opinion / review of the Legacy Of The Beast very first show in Tallin last night.

First in Bahasa Melayu then in English.
As usual... the contents are possibly different.... so to see all the insults, gossips, slanders, rumour, its good to know both languages.

This is the official short video of the first show...

I am there somewhere in the audience!!!






These are just ad hoc photos... more to come on the next few show.. LOL!!! and also all the travelling and all the market trips savoring whatever food stuffs that markets sell.

nanti aku cerita lain kali k backpack aku kali ni, cerita pasal Bulan Ramadhan kat sini, sini ni tempat2 aku gi backpack untuk tengok Iron Maiden,
cerita pasal pergi pasar tengok2, cerita pasal apa2 je la......
tapi ni laju punye post, nak cerita sikit pasal Iron Maiden main semalam. Malam pertama Legacy Of The Beast tour. Jadi memang tak tahu apa akan jadi...




Memang sold out la kan... Penuh sesak,
dan macam dah lazim, peminat yang tengok konsert rock Iron Maiden sekarang dah mengjangkau usia dari paling kecil hingga ke tua...
ramai bawak keluarga...
ratio lelaki pompuan pun aku rasa sekarang ialah 50-50.

Security bagus, dorang ronda dalam keadaan huru hara tu tapi tak carik pasal dengan para hadirin  malah aku nampak dorang memang carik budak2 nak kasi ear-plugs...

So macam photo atas, pasal ni show pertama jadi memang tak tahu apa jadi.. aku memang excited dan teruja betul..
jadi aku nampak... eh... dorang set up barricade perang, kat monitor setiap musician siap letak netting jaring yang kita nampak tentera pakai tu untuk camourflage dan kasi bomb musuh melanting ke tempat lain...
lepas tu dua crew Iron Maiden yang memang tugas nak bukak kain penutup walk-on ramp kat kiri kanan tu pakai baju tentera.
Mereka berdiri tegap serious waktu Churchill Speech nye intro.

JUMLAH SEMUA 16 lagu... aku cuma borak2 je la kan cerita apa aku ingat.

Cakap pasal Crew, semalam Iron Maiden tukar lagi Front Of House Engineer. Latest soundman ni ialah Justin Bieber, Jay Z, Kate Perry , Alanis Morisette, Linkin Park nye sound man.
Aku cuma nak cakap show semalam....... dalam berapa tahun ni.... ni show ialah pertama aku dari mula sampai akhir takde beralih perhatian kepada masalah sound yang macam sial yang kadang2 terjadi kat Iron Maiden. Kadang2 memang cuaca, macam Donington angin hujan ribut... paham.. tapi kadang2 memang aku terpaksa mengaku MACAM PUAKA!!!
Jadi maknanya, FOH baru ni berjaya lakukan kerja nya dengan baik....
Besok kita tengok Helsinki macam mana.....
Kalau besok pun takde problem..
Maknanya Iron Maiden berjaya selesaikan satu masalah kronik.. untuk sebuah band heavy metal yang main pakai tiga gitar karen, lead dan solos berganti, bassist pulak Steve Harris the one and only..., drummer pun, vocals lak air raid siren, dengan pemain keyboards lagi belakang pentas...

Aku rasa berapa pun mamat ni mintak gaji... iron Maiden patut bayar je la.

OK Aces High.... terkejut beruk... lagu start je rupanya ada prop life-size Spitfire atas band sedang main. Kalau sapa familiar Motorhead Bomber... konsep nya sama.

Bruce sikit2 tukar costume.






Lagu kedua Where Eagles Dare...   ooohh Iron Maiden masih pakai kain langsir ye untuk prop belakang pentas..  Walau gossip cakap Legacy of The Beast mereka akan pakai LED macam band2 lain..
so abis satu lagu tarik curtain... abis satu lagu tarik......
Happy aku Where Eagles Dare dimainkan...

Lagu ketiga two minutes to midnight... haha.. apa nak cakap kan.... muak lak aku asyik lagu ni walau lagu ni dah direstkan untuk Book Of Souls World Tour 2016-2017

4th.., Clansman.
Steve dengan akaustic bass nye... terbaik persembahan lagu ni...
Bruce dah macam Mel Gibson BRAVEHEART... dengan pedang dia... Mohon Bruce pakai warpaint macam Mel Gibson.....

5th  Trooper...
dalam hati aku ... awal giler walk on eddie keluar... walk on eddie kali ni ialah Eddie Trooper....  dan lawak dia main pedang dengan Bruce..
OK... pasal Bruce bawak pedang... jadi flag Union Jack stage right dia letak berdiri aje... rupanya bila dia ke stage left, bendera Estonia...

gimik sangat terbaik... aku speku ni ialah GIMIK akan dibuat setiap negara...







Lepas tu Bruce cakap pasal... FROM WAR TO THE CHURCH....

so belakang semua tukar..... jadi stained glass zaman dulu....

Revelations...., For The Greater Good Of God... Wickerman, Sign of the Cross....

apa lagi nak diminta kan..  semua lagu dahsyat.....

Cuma FTGGOG aku fikir balik... lagu ni sedap tapi aku takut dia matikan momentum live Iron Maiden yang rancak tapi takpelah.. Iron Maiden ni dah sampai kalau dorang main Wratchchild 10 kali je lepas tu balik pun aku dah puas hati...

Sign Of The Cross.. .Bruce bawak je cross besar mana dia pergi...
memang laju giler lagu ni part solos dan instrumental section dia...... tapi melodik abis.
dahsyat.... dan terbaik...

Lepas tu Flight of Icarus.. memang terkejut beruk..... Seriously... mula2 aku ingat ok.. ada physical prop Icarus... lepas tu aku tengok eh.. Bruce bawak flame thrower...
lepas tu aku terkejut beruk.... boleh tembak api siot flame thrower tersebut..
dan last... Icarus terbakar........ collapsed.

WHAT A SHOW!!!!!  Memang ni The Greatest Show On Earth.

Fear Of The Dark.. Bruce pakai macam zaman dulu nye inn keeper ke apa ke....waktu gelap gitu... haha.
Number Of The Beast... ooohh tour kali ni banyak pakai pyros dan ada letupan ye waktu Sign of the cross.... ikut style rime of the ancient mariner kalau main live.



Lagu penutup tradisi sebelum encore... Iron Maiden dengan Eddie belakang drummer yang baru.

cakap pasal Drummer.. ni Nicko nye drum set nye artwork baru...

aku pergi show pun aku gi bas stop.. aku tahu bas 43 pergi tempat show...   better half aku dah kasi aku kad bas Tallinn... aku cuma top up je...
so bas 43 datang.... aku tunggu orang pakai tshirt maiden naik... baru aku naik...

dorang jalan mana, aku ikut je.... hahahahah. BONGOK!! tapi apa nak buat.

OK aku nak naik ferry gi Helsinki lak...  Dua malam show kat sana...
aku nye tiket malam pertama diri, malam kedua tiket duduk... aku selenger bacin tak monitor penjualan tiket terus tiket diri untuk malam kedua sold out dalam berapa minit.
Tapi nasib ada tiket duduk...
pasal malam kedua terus jual kat public, takde advance sale untukkkk fan club member.
tapi malam pertama aku dapat tiket diri pasal aku dapat beli awal.....

apa aku nak cakap show semalam ramai oku dan istimewa.
tak henti aku nampak peminat datang ditolak dengan kerusi roda...

paling istimewa... pasal aku cabut sebelum run to the hills abis... masa aku nak keluar...
aku nampak satu budak ni buta...
dia dengan bapak dia..
budak tu diri (ye la... memang tiket berdiri ye tak) haha..

dia tengah hentak kayu Walking Stick Blind man ikut drumming Nicko McBrain....

Giler sayu, sedih, happy dan respek peminat2 ni semua untuk.....

Satu2 nye band yang tak boleh disangkal lagi kesetiaan peminat mereka....

I just want to share the basic essence of what I observe yesterday.. Opening show of Legacy of the Beast tour.
I had always aspire to catch the very first show of a Maiden new tour... with all the unknowns and possibilities every second of the show...
and I did it...

By the way it took me 27 hoursto finally reach Tallinn and its worth it.

So Estonia loves their Maiden.

Maiden hasa new soundman. Justin Bieber soundman.. Front of house engineer. Just one show, and I never got distracted like the past few years with every show you expect something untidy to happen.

The whole place is packed. Surely sold out...I know standing is sold out, and every seat seems occupied. LOL!!
Lots of families and people from all ages...
The security was going around and I saw them pass ear plugs to the children.
I see many wheelchair bound fans, even a blind young man. (STANDING!! and beating it to Nicko's drumming).

So start of the show...
the two crew members whos duties are to remove the covers of the walk on ramps are dressed in army uniforms and stand at attention for Churchills Speech.
 A real life size Spitfire is hovering on stage for Aces High.
Bruce has lots of costume change.
Seems there is a theme going as Bruce did say " from War to Church"..
Where Eagles Dare... amazing....  Nicko is simply amazing.. last tour it was Powerslave... This time Where Eagles Dare.... big challenges...
2 Minutes To Midnight...
Clansman... What a performance... and I thought that was the only Blaze song...
Bruce was basically Mel Gibson Braveheart without the war paint but with that long sword.
Trooper - walk on Eddie, Bruce sword Fighting with Eddie.. Bruce did not wave the Union Jack as he was holding the sword... He just shows the flag...
The Janick Gers side flag is surprised....An Estonia flag.
So this would make a nice gimmick worldwide.

Revelations change the backdrop and stage completely.
FTGGOG... I find it kills a bit of Momentum... but still awesome and fits in nicely with the stage design.

OOOHH THe lighting rig, I was looking at the circular ones...wondering what will they do...

And amazing... THEY lower DOWN, FOUR OF THEM TO BECOME CHANDELIERS!!!
Sign of the cross was speedy as usual and melodic and surely the most fastest solos and instrumental sections but pure magic...

FLIGHT OF ICARUS.. YOU HAVE TO SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT!!!!!


Ok thats about it....... 

I need to catch a ferry from Tallin to Helsinki.....

Maiden going to play two shows in Helsinki and I got tickets for both nights!!!....

This is a long belated post to celebrate Ironbird, a heavy metal band from Malaysia playing live in Singapore more than two months ago.
Its seldom I take leave from work, buy a ticket and go to a show to see a support act and not the main event. But its worth it for Ironbird.

Anyway, this post is so late that Exciter guitarist has gone on to quit Exciter.

Now lets swtich to Malay Language.(bahasa Melayu)


Malaysia's Ironbird.


25 Ogos 2018 EBX Live Space Singapura kat kawasan Tai Seng MRT stesen.
Exciter/Ironbird/Witchseeker dan lagi satu band aku tak tengok pasal aku keluar tu jam.

Macam aku cakap kat atas, post ni lambat sangat aku buat, sampai gitaris band Exciter (yang ketiga tiga nya adalah anggota asli zaman awal mereka dimana Exciter dari Canada ni merupakan antara band terawal yang mempengaruhi irama Thrash dan Speed Metal awal tahun 1980an) dah keluar dari band Exciter berapa minggu lepas.

Jadi ni foto kumpulan Exiter waktu soundcheck pada petang hari.




Jadi dapat tengok mereka beraksi dua kali round. Petang dengan malam.


Seterusnya Ini adalah band dari Singapura, Witchseeker. Band bermain heavy metal dengan lagu2 mereka sendiri yang sedap dan hebat.
Guitarist Witchseeker sangat hebat, dan bassist/player nya pun hebat dan sangat berbudi bahasa pasal lepas dorang main aku gi beli cd dorang so dapatlah salam. hahahaha.




Last but not least ini adalah Ironbird. Sebuah band heavy metal dari Malaysia.

Setlist mereka malam tu ialah dari EP mereka sendiri.

Sebenarnya aku datang kat persembahan petang tersebut untuk tengok IronBird.
Walaupun band Exciter, sebuah band international yang terkenal menjadi sajian utama, tarikan dan headliners,
tapi aku sanggup ambil cuti , hanya pasal nak tengok IronBird beraksi live depan mata.

Dan memang berbaloi.

Lagu2 yang kualiti, persembahan yang menarik, dan hebat dan kalau korang minat guitars heavy metal dual berkembar solo menyolo sahut menyahut, sambung2 gilir2 dan penuh melodic, inilah band nya. Pastikan anda mengingati nama band ni dan nantikan kemunculan mereka di mana2 persembahan berdekatan anda.

Mohon gi carik EP mereka yang ori (bentuk cd dan kaset). Terbaik dari Ladang. Highly recommended.

bulan enam lepas... actually masa bulan puasa bulan Ramadhan aku backpack sorang2 ke Estonia, Finland dan Sweden untuk tengok empat show pertama Legacy of The Beast dari band Iron Maiden...

Memang dugaan giler... sana puasa start kul 2 pagi gitu dan buka kul 10 dan kul 11 malam gitu..

pasal musim Summer, dan ni semua negara Nordic, negara Scandinavia mereka dah kat atas kalau kita tengok peta dah makin rapat dengan North Pole.

Tapi enjoy.. nanti aku cerita la pengalaman aku.... dan serious berbual... rakyat Sweden dan Iron Maiden, adalah macam kekasih paling giler bercinta......  Memang betul apa yang selalu kita baca kat internet atau majalah... mana2 negara pun ramai hardcore Iron Maiden tapi memang istimewa sangat menonton Iron Maiden di Stockholm.
Stadium bola Tele2 Arena, celah gigi je la sold out. hahaha.

xpdc - doa (album review) .................. , continuation preview backpack to Legacy Of The Beast first four shows, and new arrival today dot dot dot And justice for all deluxe.

(A short one in broken English than to Melayu Pasar)..

Malaysia's premier rock band XPDC (the one featuring current line up of Izo/Ali/Lola/Eddie with Arif on 2nd guitar) can be relied on to perform good live shows and here is a brand new album from them called Doa (Prayers).

Izo has always been a mainstay songwriter for whatever incarnation of XPDC and Ali has been around as the singer since about late 1990s.
So its business as usual with Izo writing all the songs for this new XPDC album. So thats what you get - XPDC style and sound irregardless of the singer or lineup.
And its a very good album.
Lyrically its more spiritual, but musically, its the usual XPDC. More than enough Heaviness, lots of great guitars and drums to please fans.

Now I switch to Bahasa Melayu.

(kulit depan dan belakang menyenaraikan nama2 lagu dan kredit setiap lagu dan label dan company penyokong band ni. LIFE Rekod nye logo tetap ada...).

Dari cerita pasal band Ironbird pada post lepas, kita ke lagi satu band hebat Malaysia...

Aku mula teruja album terbaru XPDC (lineup Izo/Ali/Lola dengan Arif, dan sapa pun bassist) bila tengok mereka kat Public Distortion tahun lepas kot? .
Tak dinafikan...  mereka "nearly steal the show" dari Prime Domestic.
Sound live XPDC ni sangat terbaik pada telinga aku.
(aku ada bootleg seluruh persembahan dua dua band dalam youtube channel aku)

Dan aku suka sangat dua lagu yang mereka mainkan malam tu iaitu Doa dan Kata Pepatah.
Pertama kali aku dengar lagu2 baru mereka waktu tu.

Tapi bila album Doa ni nak keluar, aku serious memang rasa takut dan cuak.
Pasal aku takut "arah baru" XPDC ni condong ke arah " spiritual" KEROHANIAN ini akan MENCAIRKAN MUZIK XPDC.
Ohhh aku mudah lupa dn aku memang lupa lak waktu tu, selain JS Kevin, Izo pun apa kurangnya sumbang lagu kan. Dan kurang konfiden aku kepada "arah" baru XPDC ni rupanya memalukan aku,
sepatutnya aku pegang prinsip " IN IZO WE TRUST".

Jadi... macam aku cakap kat atas.. "business as usual"..
Sama jugak macam band OUTRAGE dari Jepun,
XPDC ni pun kadang2 lagi Metallica dari Metallica sendiri.

Jadi album ni, dari segi muzik memang terserlah heavy metal mereka, selain dari lagu2 slow.
Muzik masih keras, masih berat secara majoriti untuk album ni.
Gitar2 nye sedap, dan drums nye hebat (Lola kan), dan Ali.... suara kalau ikut XPDC dari zaman album Samurai dan V6 dulu, tak janggal la dengar, bukan sesuatu yang baru.

Cuma aku ni impress Ali nyanyi live. dan aku sangat impressed diction sebutan dia. Dia nye Enter Sandman dah James Hetfield.

Jadi macam aku cakap, ni album majoriti lagu hebat, keras, dan laju dan juga 4 lagu slow tapi tetap Gerek , syahdu, dan buat jiwa kacau....
Lagu2 laju nya yang jumlah 6 tu tetap sedap dan tetap melodik dan penuh dengan " dramatic time changes " seperti mana2 album hebat tradisional Heavy Metal.
Satu last song is instrumental...

so... ulasan aku.

1.Akhlak lagu pertama sangat surprise kan aku.
2.Adu Domba ingatkan aku kat Talam Dua Muka.. dan punyai break kat tengah yang tetiba slow sangat syahdu.
3.Cinta Abadi memang buat aku termenung.
4.Sentosa hebat
5.Rahmah , mohon saluran tv dan radio guna lagu ni " READY MADE" untuk jadi official song nak kumpul dana untuk mereka yang memerlukan.

6.Silaturahim - lirik memang terbaik, dan lagu ni antara paling bermain dalam kepala aku.
7.Doa - Seriously.... antara lagu ni dan lagu Art Fazil " Lipas Kudung " - ni dua lagu aku akan pilih sebagai lagu Melayu terbaik aku dengar tahun ni.
8.Kata Pepatah - ok, nak hafal lirik nya.. best
9.Ranum - ni kira HIDDEN TREASURE album ni... macam Portdy cakap takde video, tapi seems ni lagu Secret Weapon album ni.
10.Akhir Zaman - Mungkin lagu paling brutal untuk album ni.

Yes, BRUTAL pasal kalau korang minat album Brutal , memang takde beza dari muzik nya.

Last song.. kawan kerja aku kasi komen, XPDC masih dengan judul lagu2 trademark mereka yang entah hapa hapa gitu.... 11. XBERHURUFXBERSUARA ke hapa entah sakit mata aku tengok judul dia.

Last song ni instrumental.....   Memang Izo (dan mungkin Arif ada dalam lagu ni juga) memang all out MENG VINNIE MOORE KAN lagu ni.

Jadi, Sapa was-was atau masih dolak dalik nak beli ke tak? mohon beli original album ni.
SEBELAS LAGU BARU. tak payah banyak colok tentang " value for money" atau "berbaloi ke tak".

Sapa suka dengar lagu rock ke, lagu heavy ke, nak carik album rock melayu hebat tahun ni, mohon sokong album ni...

Probably la nak senang... aku cakap macam ni la..

Aku belum tengok line up ni empat orang lagi, yes.. pathetic kan aku? so nanti mohon ada peluang.

Tentu kita semua ada suka ada tak suka, tapi bila album baru keluar... suka tak suka wayang sarkis kat media massa, kita support dengan beli, kalau ada time dan ada fulus lebih sikit, kita pergi tengok support band2 ni main live dengan beli tiket.
Pasal sapa lagi nak support rock band kalau bukan kita....

Pasal kalau korang tak minat, korang takkan baca pun tulisan ni sampai sini..... So korang la bak kata Ronnie James Dio - THE LAST IN LINE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy, dan jugak ada rasa keinsafan, dan kesedaran..

kalau ni " direction dan arah " XPDC , " misi " XPDC untuk peminat dan pendengar, maka dan semoga mereka berjaya dari berbagai aspek.   Respek kepada mereka.



OK, divert...  gezek aku backpack ke Estonia, Sweden dan Finland untuk tengok Iron Maiden Legacy Of The Beast empat show pertama... pada bulan Ramadhan lepas...

So aku dah kat Helsinki ( pasal Maiden main Helsinki dua malam, malam pertama tiket sold out dalam berapa jam je so tambah lagi satu malam)...

So aku jalan jalan la kan, so aku gi carik kedai KVLT.
Ni memang kedai lejen untuk irama muzik black metal la kan...
So aku gembira dapat jumpa kedai ni kat lorong kat bandar Helsinki..

Ni gezek sikit nanti lain kali aku cerita la dengan foto2 semua...

review/ulasan - JUDAS PRIEST/BABY METAL - 4 Dec 2018 Zepp Jurong East Singapore.

A quick review of Judas Priest Live in Singapore for the latest Firepower album Tour.
They are supported by the new formation of Babymetal.
Its held a Zepp Bigbox 4th December 2018.
I'll start with English and follow up with Bahasa Melayulater.





I guess the tickets sold is about 2000 attendance, its all standing event, and I guess everyone can see the band in real close up situation.
Surely Babymetal helps with the tickets as a number of fans were wearing Babymetal tshirts.

I also heard all Babymetal merchandise was completely sold out.
Not the same rings for Judas Priest. But I did get one tshirt, a nice Satan's Tuning Fork design with the cities Judas Priest is playing on the backprint. (see last photos).

Glen Tipton turned up for the encores. Worth the price of the ticket just for that alone.
Andy Sneap covers Glen Tipton for the main set before the encores, and take a back position when its time for the Three Guitarists Encore performance,
but Andy do not exactly plays all Glen Tipton solos. I think Richie Faulkner has taken more solos this time around and not just KK Downing solos and guitar parts.
Painkiller was terrific, I believe they had Glen Tipton original solos on the mix and Richie playing along with it. Glen did appear on the video screen though for this Painkiller song.

Anyway, Andy Sneap is a huge name producing and engineering and mixing for bands like Kreator and the new Firepower album, and at last I now know how he looks like.

Ian Hill was awesome as usual at his rear position.
Rob Halford was amazing with his singing, though he drops some of the chorus of more famous songs for the audience to sing themselves without the band. He did that fast singing verse on Freewheel Burning though.
The drummer Scott Travis, besides seeing him for Judas Priest, he also played for the Thin Lizzy All Star Tribute band opening for Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow first ever show in more than 20 years, when it was held in Loreley Germany where I was lucky to be in attendance. What a night that was, and another glorious night for Judas Priest in Singapore this time around too.

Last time Judas Priest plays here, it was a double bill with Lamb Of God unfortunately.
but this time it was more fun and I am more entertained with Babymetal.
They had one original member leaving the group,
but instead of having two backup dancers, Babymetal has this triangle triple formation for the Singapore show.

Laporan, ulasan pendek konsert band rock Judas Priest di Singapura di Zepp Big Box Jurong East.
Ni la pertama kali aku tengok band rock kat tempat ni. Bagus la... just nice...boleh tengok band rapat dekat.

OK jadi macam ni la rupa Encik Andy Sneap.. Selalu baca nama dia kat dalam sampul cd band2 rock sebagai producer, mixing, apa je la....
so bila dia keluar tu... hah!!! ok ok dah tahu dah rupa haha.

OK aku pilih diri sebelah Janick Gers side ni pasal dengan harapan Glen Tipton nanti keluar.
Walaupun feberet ahli Judas Priest aku ialah tetap KK Downing.

Setlist lagu2 yang dipersembahkan Judas Priest ialah di atas.

Macam aku cakap kecuali lagu Sinner, lagu2 lain dalam setlist tu busuk2 pun tahu sikit2 korus, so boleh la join in nyanyi2 kan happy2...

Rob Halford memang hebat...walau lagu2 yang Pop - Hits dia akan hulur mic kat penonton suruh nyanyi kan korus.
Tapi dia serious berbual, dia masih nyanyi part Rapping Freewheel Burning tu...
Wooo Freewheel Burning, dengan Desert Plains, aku memang nak tengok JP bawak lagu ni 2 live cammana, akhirnya....pasal tu berapa tahun dahulu tu mereka tak main ni dua lagu.

Scott Travis... dia tak flashy eh, dia macam duk belakang diam2 tapi macam aku pernah cerita dulu waktu aku gi backpacking tengok Ritchie Blackmore Rainbow main di Jarman Loreley, show pertama dalam 20 tahun lebih, 
Band pembukaan ialah Thin Lizzy All Star, drummer sepatutnya Mikey Dee Motorhead, tapi last minute Mikey Dee kena panggil jadi drummer Scorpions,
terus malam tu Scott Travis yang ganti, last minit gitu... 

Ian Hill ... hah... dekni, macam kasut kena gam atas stage, tak gerak... tapi badan goyang.. haha...
terbaik kan.......legend.

Richie Faulkner, pertama kali aku tengok dia main ni masa dia jadi gitaris Lauren Harris masa jadi band pembukaan Iron Maiden zaman 2008 dulu....
Lepas tu masa kat Singapore berapa tahun lepas bersama Judas Priest ni aku suka giler dia nye solo2 time lagu You Got Another Thing Coming,
sekarang ni dengan Glen Tipton dah sakit teruk untuk main live, Richie Faulkner bukan saja tapao semua solo dan gitar parts KK Downing, tapi solos Glen Tipton pun aku rasa dia dah ambik dah contoh Painkiller. Macam aku cakap kat atas, Painkiller tu kat video screen ada video Glen Tipton beraksi, dan aku speku...mixing lagu ni diletakkan solo Glen, dan Richie main bersama.

Andy Sneap - macam aku cakap kat atas... oohh dah tahu dah sapa mamat ni sekian lama nampak nama di sampul2 cd berlain band rock, dan wajah dia macammana...haha

Glen Tipton -  bila dia perlahan lahan keluar dari belakang pentas sorang2 untuk encore...

OK BERBALOI BELI TIKET..

pergerakkan dia pelan, tapi dia masih boleh panjat ego ramp, dan masih boleh lompat terjun.

How I listen to Mr Big (Cammana aku dengar Mr Big)

Salam and Greetings.
First in  Broken English, and then in Bahasa Melayu Pasar.

I envision if I do live long, what music I will listen to and how?
I guess Maiden will remain a staple, anything Ritchie Blackmore and another will be Mr Big.
I had ripped my Mr Big collection to mp3, installed them to my walkman for listening when walking, on bus, on trains, and occasionally plays them thru speakers at home.

Persiapan hari tua , kalau panjang umur murah rezeki...
Termasuk hiburan sihat. HAHA.
Muzik apa aku nak dengar bila Jalan kaki, dalam bas, dalam train, atau kat rumah atau mana2 sahaja?
Rasanya band Mr Big tentu jadi pilihan aku.
Aku dah ripped abis semua dah bawah ni jadi MP3.
Dah letak dalam Walkman aku, senang dengar bila2 masa di luar, malah tempat kerja bila waktu malam takde orang lain..  dan di rumah aku bluetooth kan aje ke speakers...

Mungkin senang aku akan ulas sekali gus setiap koleksi Mr Big aku ni....

Anthem - Immortal (2006) review/ulasan

I'll type in English for this one.



A quick short review, actually more to show how the packaging looks like.
Before Black Empire album in 2008, there was Immortal in 2006.

To my ears this album is melodic , as all Anthem albums are after the year 2000 reunion,
but this is definitely a hard hitting album. No exactly slow songs, unless you consider Echoes In The Dark as one. LOL!!
Even the instrumental on this album Insomnia is In Your Face.

Anthem remains still one of my favourite bands, although getting information about them and music by them and collecting their releases is so difficult and BLOODY EXPENSIVE.
But still if there is a will there is a way.
It would be a dream come true to be able to backpack to Japan and follow Anthem on their Japanese Tour.
Most of the time I have no idea what they are singing though.

This studio album is consist of
-Naoto Shibata of course
-Akio Shimizu and I love him as an Anthem guitarist
-Eizo Sakamoto - I still prefer Eizo above Yukio Morikawa as Anthem best vocalist. He makes the band sound Heavy Metal compared to the more Rock N Roll style of Yukio in my opinion.
-Hirotsugu Homma was still drummer for this album, before his accident.

Martin Birch has DIED / sudah MATI

First in broken English, selepas tu dalam Bahasa Melayu Pasar.

Posting Serious/Serius.

So I just get to know Martin Birch is dead from friends thru wassap.
My friend is in Johor Malaysia currently, I am in Singapore currently.
that explains the trans-boundary international impact his death on the world.

Long before as a child I learn of Iron Maiden existence, and I do not even know Martin Birch produce them,
I had first fall in love with songs from Rainbow Rising and Sabbath's Heaven and Hell.
So can be concluded,
the music I love, the performers (in whatever musical chair they play turning up in different bands) has Martin Birth's print.

I think it can be concluded easily by an article I read, first time he learnt of a band called Iron Maiden was when Ritchie Blackmore brought him to his home, and play the first LP from Iron Maiden back in 1980 I guess.
So its about that isnt it... the Ritchie Blackmore/Martin Birch musical tree...

I guess his death has the biggest impact on me as a music fan since Ronnie James Dio passing.



Jadi tadi aku baru bukak Wassap , tengok Berteromber wassap cakap Martin Birch mati. 

Ala..... terasa ok. Sanubari.

Bayangkan impak kematian beliau, ok beliau mati kat mana? Amerika?
tapi orang kat Johor dah wassap dan aku kat Singapura sekarang ni dah baca.. dan terus buat blog.

Macam aku cakap atas tu cakap omputeh,
Sebelum aku tahu dan dengar Iron Maiden, aku dah minat Rainbow Rising.
Aku belajar bahasa Inggeris ialah dengan salin lirik lagu Highway Star.
Aku belajar Inggeris ialah dengan kawan aku budak darjah lima tu jam ajar aku sebut lirik lagu Heaven dan Hell.
(sing me a song youre a singer do me a wrong youre a bringer of evil ) gitu....  gitulah aku belajar bahasa inggeris haha.
Impak nye muzik2 lagu2 yang ada curahan kerjaya beliau sangat besar 
dalam keseluruhan kehidupan aku...




so....Banyak aku minat dalam hidup aku, selain dari ada acuan Ritchie Blackmore, ialah ada acuan Martin Birch.

Dan aku pernah baca, waktu Iron Maiden tu jam tak berani nak jemput Martin Birch jadi Producer album pertama mereka, kerana mereka rasa mereka kerdil band kecil,
tapi di zaman sama, Ritchie Blackmore dah bawak Martin Birch balik rumah dan pasang LP dari Britain, LP band pertama dari band bernama Iron Maiden.

Macam aku cakap kat atas... impak terbesar aku sebagai peminat music la ni Martin Birch mati, sejak kematian Ronnie James Dio.

review/ulasan European Metal Festival ALLIANCE 7th to 9th August 2020 (online streaming)

First in Melayu Pasar and then my Broken English.

Minggu lepas secara online streaming (macam pay per view ) gitu.
Bayar harga  berpatutan EURO6.66 dapat password untuk tonton festival online ni. Gabungan 10 festival merata Eropah termasuk Bloodstock.
Harga yang sangat munasabah tiga tiga malam, tengok ikut suka kita bila kita free dan penganjur beri tambahan lagi dua hari selepas akhir tayangan perdana setiap band.
Covid19 kan? jadi lebih 30 band, bergabung untuk buat pesembahan 3 hari 3 malam, macam festival tapi kita semua kat rumah la.
Majoriti band rakam khas persembahan dari studio mereka atau pentas tempat mereka berada.
Ada sebahagian tunjuk video2 live mereka pernah main depan penonton sebelum ni.
TAPI...
yang best tengok bands yang rakam khas untuk festival ni dari mana mereka berada. Seronok sungguh.
Ada band pernah tahu, pernah dengar, ada band tak pernah tahu.. Foto2 kat bawah...
Nanti Wings nak buat benda sama kot hujung bulan ni, aku nak cuba dapat menonton jugak nanti kalau ada kesempatan.



Last week, I bought an online ticket priced at Euro 6.66 to be able to access this online streaming festival.
About 30 bands participate for a cyber music festival where you can view online anywhere.
The organisers gave an EXTRA TWO DAYS i believe for you to view all the content starting from broadcast time.
Most bands recorded special performances for this broadcast.
And that is awesome as you watch them play from their studios or stages in places where there are due to COVID19 situation.
I hope more bands do this to appease fans thirst for live music and attending rock concerts until the Covid19 situation is solved.

Here are some bands that I watch their performances online and I love it. I especially love Unleash the Archer.
I think this is a value for money for just Euro6.66

Nice crossover songs, very entertaining. I like it so much.

I really enjoyed viewing this band. Unleash The Archers.
Never heard of them before.
I would like to check out more from them.

Venom Inc has this digital computer background...  


Orange Goblins. From UK. I like this band.



Dead Lord from Stockholm Sweden.
They have these huge banner of Iron Maiden inside their studio...
They play classic rock style. 
Another band worth checking out.

I think this is a good way for bands and viewers and music fans continue to enjoy live music in a covid19 environment.
At same supporting organisers and the bands themselves by paying some fees to view them.

 Bukan tilam Toto, Bukan tikam nombor Toto, Bukan tandas jenama Toto, tapi band nama Toto.

Kalau aku tak tahu Iron Maiden, mungkin aku probably pilih ikut Toto.

Kalau aku kena pilih band nombor 2 kegemaran aku belakang Iron Maiden? Kadang aku pilih Rainbow, tapi kadang aku pilih Toto. Susah weiii...     Nantilah senang borak lagi..


If I dont know Iron Maiden existed, probably I would have followed Toto.

That explains it all my love for their music. A magical band , irregardless whoever is performing on these studio or live albums.

(nak cakap ulasan pun bukan sangat, borak kejap apa dalam kepala hotak aku aje) 

Serious berbual, rock melayu ni kadang2 otak aku jam nak buat blog.

Kecualiada show2 aku pergi rock melayu, boleh la aku review2 sikit, upload bootlegs aku rakam, selain tu aku tak tahu apa nak borak dan untuk dapat berita rock rock Melayu ni, aku harapkan sahabat-sahabat yang kongsi info dan borak2 dalam group Wassap aje...    kalau tak memang aku tak tahu apa jadi la.

Lagi dah covid19 ni, lagi takde konsert nak gi, haha. 

Anyway, baru dapat, biasalah covid19 ni semua pun takpelah lambat asal selamat. Pekerja Pos pun nak kena jaga diri jugak ye tak? So thank you Postal Staff of the World.  Nak tunggu lambat sangat physical cd, Port dah hantar dah advance lagunya bentuk digital. haha.

SEARCH AWIE APOLOGIA RAW JAMMING EDITION.

Aku dah beli tiket sebenarnya show Search Awie ni 28hb Mac lepas. Tapi apa nak buat.  Takde Rezeki ye. Takpe.. Next time Insya Allah.

4 lagu dalam cd ni, 3 lagu jamming, 1 lagu original source. Semua empat lagu korang pun dah tahu cuma ni version tak pernah dengar la ye.  Telinga aku takde masalah untuk menerima tiga lagu versi Jamming tu.

Rock N Roll Pie, Bayangan Baiduri, Pelesit Kota, dan of course last song versi ori Nur Nilam Sari.

Serious berbual tak puas la kan tiga lagu je, mungkin ada part 2? part 3?  tapi apa pun aku suka kombinasi Search dan Awie, so aku support la beli ni. Especially ni covid19 kan. Support mana yang boleh.

Aku speku tentu ada lagu2 lain yang dirakam masa jamming yang seelok tiga lagu ni sesuai tuk direlease untuk peminat2 yang berminat nak dengar jamming version. So tu la aku speku kot ada part 2 nanti.

ni dari tadi aku rip cd ni jadi MP3 nak masuk walkman aku, bukak casing, alih cd masuk plastik vcd pirate, snap gambo show off, buat blog gini dah nak tiga round dah dengar ni empat lagu.

OK la aku happy untuk mendapatkan cd ni. Serious bila baca " jamming " aku expect worse actually sound nya.  So a pleasant surpise actually.

Wings " Kita Merdeka" Online Streaming 2020 Ulasan/Review

 Malaysian premier rock band Wings played an online-streaming concert (pay per view) what with the covid19 situation now. About 13 songs. Interesting ocassion with very smooth audio and video quality, at least for me.




OK Charity Shield separuh masa, jadi aku time nak buat blog.

So tadi berlangsung peristiwa kumpulan WINGS " KITA MERDEKA " LIVE STREAMING 2020.

Harga RM35. Ni bukan kali pertama aku bayar untuk menyaksikan rock band buat persembahan secara online streaming. Sebelum nya berapa minggu lepas untuk Festival 3 hari 3 malam libatkan 30+ band2 Eropah majoritinya untuk gabungan 10 Festival Eropah yang diberi nama METAL ALLIANCE EUROPEAN FESTIVAL dimana rata2 majoriti band2 tersebut buat persembahan khas dari studio atau pentas masing2 di mana band2 ni berada waktu Covid19 ni. Mula2 sekali aku nak cakap aku biarkan je berkumandang dari speakers persembahan yang artis2 pembukaan tu Zynakal dan Yonnyboy  dan aku terhibur jugak la dengar. Aku tak tengok pun kat laptop persembahan mereka berdua, just dengar je. Terhibur diri aku ni dan akhir persembahan tu pun pada aku mereka nampak humble, dan rendah diri cakap sopan. So aku suka.. So aku cerita sini.. Kalau aku tak berkenan aku tak sebut pun.

So Wings. Lama tak tengok Wings main, rindu la kan kat Awie, Black, Eddie. Dan teringin nak dengar sound dan persembahan Wings guna dua gitaris.

dah... abis abis gitu..  haha.

sapa yang berada di dewan peristiwa diminta tengok bawah kerusi masing2 ada surprise. Sapa tengok online, abis abis gitu je la.. 


So? aku tengok ni sambil masih menghadam kegunaan dua gitar untuk live, dengan banyak lagu pun dua dua gitaris solo, dengan arrangement2 baru untuk sebagian lagu baik dari intro, gitar solos dan sebagainya. Jadi mungkin ambil masa aku nak hadam, nak adjust ye tak...  Mungkin akhirnya aku akan minat, atau aku kurang minat. Tapi ni semua selera masing2. 

Tapi ni pun suasana Covid19, dah cukup dah tiap hari asyik berita tak syok, berita negatif.. so mari kita carik benda2 positif je la...  Awie is superb frontman, untuk aku dia boleh bersuara atas pentas dan boleh bercakap/berceloteh walau untuk show ni sangat kurang dia menunjukkan "sense of humour " dia tapi lebih serious malam ni. Mungkin kerana suasana persembahan Merdeka, dan situasi Covid19 dan jugak dia highlight pengorbanan Frontliners.

Kualiti audio dan video, tiada masalah langsung untuk aku. Dari segi bayaran, untuk dapat kualiti audio dan video begini memang berbaloi. At least untuk aku la, di mana aku berada, semua licin aje streaming nye.

So kita pun faham suasana covid19 ni, hiburan2 dan berjimba ialah paling tak penting. Maka termasuk lah keadaan ekonomi band2 kita minat. Dan efek domino nye jatuh kepada band2 ni nye crew dan organisers. Jadi kalau ada kegiatan sihat cam ni, kita kalau boleh sokong, kita sokong la.

Cuma aku nak cakap sikit, tadi lepas show ni abis aku nak masuk balik macam tak boleh. Entah eh... aku ingat boleh ulang tengok streaming ni mungkin 2 atau 3 hari lagi sebelum dipadam. Tapi well...... 

So tu je kot... aku tahu tak silap aku Oktober 2nd ni, Armored Saint akan buat online streaming main live untuk raikan rilisan album studio terbaru mereka.... harga tiket US$10. dan ooo yeah yang tiga hari tiga malam Alliance Metal Festival ngan 30+ bands main dan boleh tengok ulang ulang tambahan berapa hari harga nya Euro6.66.

So berpatutan jugak la kita sokong, terutama yang kejong tak dapat gi tengok apa2 band live dengan keadaan Covid19 sekarang.

The MAN - Ultimate Formation (Live 2cd) review/ulasan (Naoto Shibata/Anthem side project)

As usual first in Broken Malay & then Broken English.




Rakaman Live 2019 ni ialah Naoto Shibata (bassist/kepala/penulis lagu/producer/ketua/Steve Harris kumpulan Anthem bersama band Anthem dan diselit jemputan tiga ahli band2 GALNERYUS dan CONCERTO MOON memainkan lagu2 rock barat yang beliau minat dan mungkin mempengaruhi nya zaman dulu kala.

Macam biasa, memang cekik darah dan ikat perut kalau nak tahu berita2 perihal band2 rok Jepun dan kemudian mendapatkan rilisan2 mereka. Tapi... memang seronok giler dan berbaloi bila dapat memilikinya walau pun selalu tertinggal bas.
Jadi macam aku minat giler band Anthem ni untuk aku selepas reformasi semula tahun 2000 dan dengan bertukar2 anggota sekalipun, kualiti mereka semakin hebat.

Sangat seronok terutama dengar Yukio Morikawa nyanyi live lagu2 Inggeris. Sangat bagus Inggeris nya, sebab tu memang percaturan Anthem ambil Morikawa semula dan buang Eizo Sakimoto memang berbaloi kerana penguasaan bahasa Inggeris Morikawa lebih baik. Sebab tu mereka boleh buat album Nucleus bahasa Inggeris 100%, Aku rasa Eizo kalau nyanyi kelaut la Inggerisnya. Tapi apa pun.. aku lagi minat Eizo dari Morikawa ni. Eizo suara metal. Morikawa ni suara lebih rock n roll pada telinga aku.

Aku speku, mungkin satu masa terdekat, lagi sekali pertukaran anggota bertukar ngan Eizo Sakimoto kembali dan Yukio Morikawa keluar semula. Memang nampak pattern kumpulan Anthem akan selang seli guna dua vokalis hebat ni... dan memang walaupun salah satu dah keluar band, tetap akan tampil bersama2 bila buat live show.

as can be identified, the A in mAn is the ANTHEM logo/font.
So that kind of give it away on the cover.
So its Naoto Shibata with his current Anthem Yukio Morikawa, Akio Shimizu and Isamu Tamaru plays the rock songs that I am sure we all are mostly familiar with.

So it was recorded live last year.. so with the inlet info here goes the setlist or songs performed and the guest musicians for specific songs.

-The covers are very close to originals.
-Nice to hear superb vocals from Yukio Morikawa. I believe he has a strong command of English to be able to sing these live. ( And yes... I miss Eizo Sakimoto in Anthem. I hope he comes back soon )
-He is most spot on for Lemmy's Motorhead Iron Fist. LOL!!
-The music is amazing.... the bass, drums and of course Akio Shimizu on every song.
-The keyboards/guitars Tony Carey versus Ritchie Blackmore with Cozy Powell and Jimmy Bain instrumental section of A Light In The Black was so beautifully done here.
-I HAVE ZERO COMPLAINTS.
-My favourite Japanese rock band performing songs I grow up with and loved so much.

I wish there will be a video release too.
