For those who have not seen the Turbo 30 Japanese edition.
Plus my short opinion and review of this very UNUSUAL Judas Priest album, in English then in Bahasa Melayu.

Japanese people have always got awesome taste in music.

I like this album. This is a very glam, 'commercial', synthesizerized album.
I was a school boy.
So its nothing weird to be happily serenaded by those happy rebelious Wild Nights Hot And Crazy Days, Parental Guidance, Private Property and Rock You Around The World, Hot For Love, type of songs.
But of course, there are some serious Judas Priest Heavy Metal going on too on this album.

Even then you cannot run away from the Glenn Tipton / KK Downing guitars combination ever.

So it kind of bring back memories of that period. Priest...Live! was an eye opener.
You can start a Judas Priest live concert with a slow love song as the first song.

Listening back now, with this remastered 30th anniversary version,
I think one of my favourite songs if I have to choose one is still RECKLESS. Of course I love Out In The Cold, title track and the rest of the songs.

It would have been amazing if Reckless was in the movie Top Gun.
"No One Can Stop Me Now, I am a HUMAN DYNAMO!!" and with Tom Cruise doing his hero jet fighter plane acts.
Such a lovely lovely song this one..
Unfortunately Judas Priest do not allow the song to be used. They were worried the movie is not successful LOL!!..

OK, one of the main reasons I bought this 30th anniversary besides as I like this album and want a proper anniversary remastered release,
Hot For Love sound effect is still as crazy as ever. LOL!!!
is A FULL CONCERT. I like the selection of songs played on the tour to promote this album.
Priest...Live!! is not exactly smooth full concert.

So this one, the 2nd and 3rd CD is recorded in Kansas 1986. I love it so.

this one from Judas Priest live in Singapore, a few years back and when they were playing Turbo Lover.

OK ni ialah rilisan 30 Tahun album TURBO dari kumpulan Judas Priest. Jadi ini ialah untuk cetakan Jepun nye version.

Budak2 Melayu belajar sapa tu JUDAS ISCARIOT semua ni dari band puaka ni la.

Album yang sangat commercial. Dengan lagu2 yang gembira kebanyakkan.
Apa pun, sejarahnya, album ni sebenarnya, double album Twin Turbo, tapi tak jadi, dan semua lagu paling commercial diambil untuk buat album ni.

Tapi jangan silap ye, Glen Tipton dan KK Downing tetap carik makan macam biasa dalam album ni dan memang la dorang pasangan gitaris yang terbestest sangat la kan.

APA AKU PERASAN dalam bungkusan packaging ni pemain dram Dave Holland macam ditenggelamkan berbanding yang lain.
OK la, tak terkejut dengan sejarah jenayah yang dia lakukan.

Jadi semua lagu gerek, walau ada lagu dah tua ni rasa lain sikit la iaitu lagu Parental Guidance.

Ye la kan.... kan zaman tu ada PMRC.
Mampos rabak rabak kan muzik Metal semua kena rabak2.

Aku masih ingat nama pompuan tu.. - TIPPER GORE. Bini naib presiden amerika ke hapa.

Luckily, Blackie Lawless and all the heavy metal heroes are still around kicking ass!!

Fortunately!!!!!

Album kedua dan ketiga ialah sebenarnya aku nak... bila aku nak beli Turbo 30.

Korang tahu la Priest...Live! kan betapa gerek tapi macam tak complete kan? dah la ada remastered edition jadi 2 cd la apa la..

So walau ada bootlegs ke hapa tour 1986 dulu, tapi aku nak simpan satu yang official release. Jadi ini la dia, live in Kansas 1986 bulan Mei.

Susah la nak cakap, nak ulas, nak borak pasal Judas Priest.

Ni antara band orang2 Melayu paling minat dari zaman dulu sampai sekarang, so nak wakrak susah. HAHA.

Layan gambo, dan layan satu bootleg aku tape masa dorang main kat Singapore satu2 nye lagu dari album Turbooooo LOVERRRR!!!!!

Best thing about Judas Priest packagings, is they always break down the solos and who does what and did what for each song on guitars...

Zillion years ago at school.

When I first heard "Estranged", I like it so much.

I read the lyrics at the cassette tape inlets,

"Old At Heart But I'm only 28

I was going ""28??!!!!"""Fuck that is so long from now."

Time flies. And how time really flies...

And now, I am much much older than 28.

And I still love this song and even more so. Beautiful song and lyrics, complete with dolphins sounds.

If ever the reason why Axl Rose & Slash must reunite, this is it!! LOL!!

And I hope they play it this Saturday.

So it will be lots of emotions when the songs will be played.

I will endure the Chinese Democracy tunes and I am sure they will play a few maybe I like it enough after hearing some tunes played live to finally buy the album.

There is this techno song "better"?? nice....

But any songs from the Appetite For Destruction, Use Your Illusions 1 & 2, Spaghetti Incident, Lies.. albums??

No problem, any songs.

I will love them all. LOL!!

Surely many of the songs I have not heard for a long time.

But I am confident, all will come back to me, the lyrics and the way the songs goes and the solos and all that. Just like Metallica a few weeks back, or any other rock band show that I attend.

These songs never disappear from your head, they will reappear once you see these bands starts to play the songs no matter how long how many years you never hear those songs. All will come back start to finish.

Moving on,

So, another small matter of a DOUBLE HEADER OPPORTUNITY of Megadeth playing both Singapore & Malaysia early May.

Ohh shit its very close to my intention of backpacking all over for Iron Maiden UK Tour.

So I guess I'll skip that, unless an opportunity arises for either show or both LOL!!!

Certainly, the Malaysia Kuala Lumpur show will be a blinder.

Megadeth have problems before playing in Malaysia so the first time will be a killer.

It will be a revenge time.

I am sure extra songs will be played for the Kuala Lumpur show.

The Singapore show? Well.. Megadeth have been to Singapore at least twice but this is the first time it will be indoors, and I have never seen Megadeth indoors come to think of it. NOW, this is an excuse for me to see Megadeth this coming May?? Because I have never seen them play INDOORS ever?? LOL!!! and both Singapore & Malaysia shows are indoors? hmmmn.. (giggles).
(now lets see my working shifts schedules for both days LOL!!)

Dystopia Tour was and surely is still great, I saw them play Donington last year with a bunch of the new songs they played and they even got additional time to play an extra song and they bring out Nikki Sixx to join in for ANARCHY IN UK.

What a choice. Donington. And Queen Elizabeth Birthday Celebrations Period in the UK. LOL!!!

Really slot in well with old ones.

So I think it will be enjoyable for those able to attend either of these shows.

GNR show in Singapore will be held at the "not so easily accesible" by public transport besides the coastal sea side Changi Exhibition Hall.

So its easier to get the special bus services provided,

or I'll end up sleeping on the beach till morning. LOL!!

Even the special bus service ticket looks cool for Guns N Roses.

Ooohh..

I was going thru some Donington footage for Megadeth last year..

This is simply a HILLARIOUS FUNNY VIDEO CAM showing the crushing situation in front.

From the video, I think its difficult to breathe let alone move.

Fans are compressing in front early to get the best spots for Black Sabbath The End later. LOL!!

I was much further back for Megadeth because I want to peacefully enjoy the new Dystopia songs that day. And its flooding mud rivers the whole main stage area.
Scary like hell sometimes these situations.

The ending of this video was the best with the CAM guy was ESCORTED OUT BY SECURITY thru the front. LOL!!

Check out this video start to end from someone way up in front, it was a Saturday the day Megadeth plays on Main Stage. Nikki Sixx was on stage, two bassist during this song. Legs all over.

Macam aku cakap kat atas, korang tahu Estranged kan? Terbaik dari ladang lagu ni..

Boleh menangis ok kalau dengar kesedihan lagu ni, dan ayat ayat puitis lirik lagu punye la menyentuh perasaan. Siap dengan bunyi bunyi ikan dolphin yang kiut.

Tapi kan masa lagu ni keluar macam kan lirik dia cantik sangat kan, siap ada umur lagi...., "Ala...apa ni cinta2 ni semua? 28 tahun?? siak ah!! tu tua siak!!"..

cam gitu la kan sikit lebih kurang fikir kalau masa baca lirik..

Then.. hah kau dah terover rabak rabak nya..
Dan still, masih aku minat giler lagu ni, makin aku minat...

Jadi kenangan mengusik jiwa lagu2 Guns N Roses, aku harap sikit2 dah la main album Chinese Democracy...
aku harap Better dan This I Love. Cukup... lain lagu, aku tak cerewet.. Apa2 pun boleh...

Drummer baru ni cam menarik perhatian aku, so ada sesuatu aku nak cek out jugak.

Ohhh, dorang dah sediakan perkhidmatan bas lebih elok dari Metallica nye show 2013.

OK, aku ada beli tiket bas, ada berapa tempat boleh pilih untuk khidmat bas malam tu, tak semua tempat la, berapa tempat je tapi at least ok la, boleh keluar dari TEMPAT JIN BERTENDANG TU.

OK, harap boleh pergi, aku off tiga hari hujung minggu ni.. so satu malam hurray hurray... sekali2 ok la kan? haha...

Memang dua tiga tahun lepas, menaikkan semangat aku kembali sebagai pendengar lagu2 mereka..

Mula2 aku dapat peluang tengok Angra beraksi di Hellfest, Angra is KIKO (&Rafael), dan KIKO(& Rafael) is Angra.

Lepas tu terus berita keluar Dave Mustaine panggil Kiko join Megadeth,
dan last year aku dapat tengok dorang main tour baru ni kat Donington,
siap lepas dorang main , TRIPLE H dari WWE naik stage kasi Dave Mustaine apa award entah.

(tu video atas tu aku jumpa kat youtube, kelakar.. aku paling suka ending video atas ni, aku takdelah depan2 gitu.. tak boleh bernafas ok, aku diri belakang diam diam sudah... haha, tapi aku plan nak gi tengok Iron Maiden rasa satu dua show aku nak try depan2, kaki tak jejak lantai nya depan.. TAKUT siak!! haha).

So memang la bara lama terbakar kembali gitu... dan Dystopia pun seronok.

Personally I think this is a very very well-organised concert, for a 50,000 attendance in a God-Forsaken Land, Far Flung "No Public Transport" location Changi Exhibition Centre besides the coastal sea.

For me a lot of complaints are simply unfair to the organiser.

Metallica had played here 2013 in worst conditions and lessons had been learnt then.

You are here for filling up your FUCKING STOMACH? or CRAVING ALCOHOL?

Or you are here for Axl/Slash/Duff/Dizzy's Guns N Roses?

You buy tickets but you are not mentally prepared for the "provided" transportations on reaching there and out?

You think only you are going for the show? There are maybe 50,000 plus thousands more logistic and support staffs involved.

And of course there will be jams.

AND complaints of not enough buses, the buses are trapped in traffic jam outgoing of the area and there are thousands who are smart enough to go to the buses, immediately after Paradise City.

If You guys hang around, and you guys have to wait for more buses to return from sending out earlier passengers. You should have get a private car driver to fetch you then if you want immediate service.

You all guys should come early 5 hours early if want to eat, drink or whatever.

And GNR is on time nowadays. You think GNR will start a few hours later for you all to fill up your lateness, stomach and your beer demands????

You all think Axl will wait for all of you? Axl is a changed person.

All these about poor timekeeping and puctuality stories are now just historical facts.

This is the new Axl and the new Guns N Roses era.

Anyway, for fuck, if the food is finished, GO HOME AND EAT!!!!!!!!!!

You are there to see Guns N Roses.

So I dont understand whats the complaints is all about and seems the mainstream newspaper are picking on these complainants.

Well, maybe these complainants wants to be treated like a kid being spoon-fed by their mommy, or they are just plain not-prepared for the occasion.

You are here for Guns N Roses so just endure all other problems and enjoy Guns N Roses plays a full show of 2hrs 49 minutes.

And its most stupid to threaten the organiser of not going anymore to any show they provide.

all these bullshit talk, and after thise you guys will be become assholes and go again the next LAMC organise another show of your favourite band.

Organisers have been risking their neck to bring these bands in, they are not cheap, anything can go wrong, and these organisers and promoters have done their best and end result the band played in full and no accidents happens. And you pussy complaint about food, and logistics and what which is due to you all are not mentally prepared to attend a SHOW OF THIS SCALE.

Its not the organiser who cannot handle the large scale, its the consumers public who are too "cocoon minded" to accept difficulty and challenges in a rock n roll situation.

So thanks the organisers rather than complain and threaten them and use "inferior" words regarding their credibility.

You pay for the concert, and the organiser and band delivered. And no accidents happen and you all reach home safely. Whatever the hiccup, please wake up because this is rock n roll.

Around me, There are people who are not well during the show, there is a female fan who kind of collapse. But all is under controlled by the people around them.

They get situation all in order. The fans themselves.

AND THESE ARE THE TRUE FANS NOT THOSE COMPLAINT KINGS AND QUEENS who bring it to the mass media CROWS. And these will be bullets to kill Rock N Roll.

2 hours 49 mins. (its the timing on my bootleg recorder).

What I notice.

- The drummer position is a source of debate with all the Steven Adler issues and I enjoy the drummer Frank Ferrer, he gets the job done professionally. Nothing flashy nothing what. He adds a bit to Steven Adler originals. LOL!!

- Axl Rose a few times saying "Thank You For Having Us". He often does his MIDDLE FINGER SALUTE while delivering the songs everytime the video screens are on him.

- Axl Rose moves around the stage a lot, he sings very well, having seen being a PAID SINGER for Angus Young ACDC last year and now this. I think he is very very good performer who dont talk a lot now but gets the job done well.
I love watching him singing for ACDC last year, and this year watching him with his own GNR I simply love him again.

- Duff McKagan he uses the behind stage ramp a lot climbing up and down both sides.

He sings the backing vocals especially I like him on the new songs from Chinese Democracy.

Duff looks very healthy.

- The Lady Keyboardist is like a DURACELL BUNNY RABBIT. She is jumping the whole night. What a stamina this lady. Melissa Reese.
She also does all backing vocals.

- Dizzy Reed!!!! I think no close up of his face the whole night on the video screen.

Just his magical fingers zoom in.

- The Grand Piano for November Rain is mechanically raised up and down at front of stage from below.

- The other guitarist Richard Fortus, he reminds me of The Who guitarist. Throwing shapes. Love his solos on Rocket Queen.
Rocket Queen is becoming an extended song with lots of great solos from both guitarist.

- Slash, he also solos the Chinese Democracy album songs. He shares the main spotlight a lot. Looks like its his show plus Axl Rose.

- The 4 songs from Chinese Democracy are alright. I like them all. Especially the techno song Better.
PET SHOP BOYS should cover this song.

- Most people in general just take out the handphone for a short while each time. So its a very nice environment with everyone focussing on the show and not the handphone.

The sound, I have no issue. The lights the stages are awesome.

Its like 50,000, fortunately I got PEN A ticket, but still I came quite late. I have no complaints about where I stand.

I think those in Pen B must be feeling miserable a bit way behind.

I was hoping for some fireworks during Live And Let Die. LOL!! But nope.

Its a very nice show.

Once again kudos to the organisers. Well Done. Continue to organise shows please.

And do follow Hellfest style instead of using physical tokens instead of creditting money into the wrist band.

Apa ni komplen pasal makan dah abis?

benda2 ni terjadi masa konsert, tapi semua relaks je...

keadaan terkawal dan tak de pun aku rasa staff sampai datang, semua pandai2 sendiri.

Tapi pasal tiket memang lawak,

sampai dia tanya Pen A atau B? kalau PEN A, korang beratur kat tempat disediakan, TAKDE ORANG CEK TIKET SIAK, terus kasi tag, terus cek beg, terus masuk

KORANG TAU???!! sapa takde tiket sebenarnya boleh masuk terus PEN A. hahahaha.

tapi aku paham, mungkin dorang tak mau jam sangat.... ala... buat apa nak tipu, pasal sapa sangka kan? haha... tempat jin bertendang pun...dan terang sampai situ mesti dah ada tiket la kan..

cuma sapa ada tiket Pen B, aku rasa kalau tahu, mesti baik pindah masuk Pen A la kan. haha.

Macam aku, aku tahu apa aku nak... MAKAN dulu siang2, air simpan dalam beg, kat security baru aku surrender botol air aku,

aku tak mau beli merchandise pasal aku budget, so aku skip ni semua.... TAPI TSHIRT DESIGN LAWA2 GILER OK. Sedih pulak rasanya haha.

aku tahu pengalaman aku tengok ACDC, Axl dah disiplin on time mungkin dia belajar dengan ACDC,

chop-chop GNR start main 2 jam 49minit nak kat 3 jam. Takde komplen pilihan lagu dan segala nasik tambah dalam setiap lagu dan persembahan Axl Rose dan setiap pemuzik cam aku cakap kat atas tu. Kagum aku keyboardist kedua lompat cam Duracell Bunny Rabbit full show. haha.

PILIHAN LAGU2 dari mula sampai abis semua memang hebat2 belaka.

Tak boleh nak mintak lebih dari ni, kurang ajar kalau aku bising takde "Dont Cry""locomotive" dan "one in a million " ye tak? haha.

Abis Paradise City, terus aku blah.
Ramai macam aku blah, pasal semua nak gi Merchandise Stand beli tshirt tak mau nanti beratur panjang.

So aku terus gi tempat bas... Aku rasa ada ribu2 pun macam aku...

Ikut arahan, pilih tempat kita nak tuju, beratur, naik bas...

Dalam bas, aku dengar mat salleh semua berbual pasal pengalaman puaka Metallica 2013, jadi semua tahu cammana nak selamatkan diri gitu la...

So takde masalah langsung, jadi aku heran dengan komplen2 tu semua,

either tak pernah tengok konsert rock,

tak pernah tengok konsert skala besar,

biasa semua dorang nak, semua disajikan depan mata,

tak tahu bersyukur organiser dah buat terbaik, kutuk hina organiser tahap cipan babi hutan.

ok dah la, aku stop haha... omputeh nye aku dah luahkan perasan aku. KNN.

Cuma, aku suka, audience gerek pasal boleh kata semua tak peduilik pasal hanphone, ada la keluarkan ambil satu dua gambo, ambil video sikit..

tapi rata2 satu show memang seronok semua fokus dan tak pedulik hanphone.

SECARA PENUTUP AKU NAK CAKAP...

NI BUKAN KONSERT RAIHAN.

Mula2 ingat nak borak pasal rok melayu,
nak luahkan perasaan DUKACITA aku tengok sokkabar melayu cerita pasal Joe keluar dari kumpulan Wings. Tapi lain kali la. Daffodil Lament & Ares Lament ok perasaan aku ni tahu Joe dah takde dalam kumpulan Wings.
Beliau punye sumbangan dan apa je la sejak dari kaset Hukum Karma keluar tak perlu dipertikaikan atau diremeh-temehkan sesiapun.

Tidur kat Puduraya lama, dengan Indon Indon merempat kat bangku2 Puduraya, Wings nye pasal, ho hal.

As usual English then Bahasa Melayu. I try to add different contents to make it worthwhile.

Today lets blog about COLSTON HALL and why its such a legendary place for me, and also The Cranberries at the same time playing a UK tour while Iron Maiden is doing so.

But before that.... Tommy Page is dead yesterday by suicide solution, but Long Live "Shoulder To Cry On!!".
and Long Live The King of Mercy! (I am listening to Wasp Crimson Idol while doing this blog)

Background,

When I was at school, one of my favourite bootlegs of Iron Maiden was the Somewhere In Time Tour recorded in Bristol 1986 because of the awesome recording quality and blistering performance of the SIT album songs live. especially.
The setlist for that album tour was amazing (Dave Murray & Adrian Smih (& before that Rainbow) played Nightwish' Walking In The Air long before Nightwish play that song LOL!!)
So on that recording Bruce Dickinson was chatting about Bristol , about they played in Hippodrome and then Colston Hall and saying about there should be a bigger place in Bristol.

So it sticks on my mind, this Colston Hall thingy.

I think Iron Maiden possibly will never play there again due to the size of the audience they attract nowadays unless they do a full 30-40 dates UK tour which is undoubtly so.

And then I was following the most awesome of them all - Belinda Carlisle tour dates, and I realise she also performed at Colston Hall.
So its a dream to visit this place.

So for Iron Maiden UK Tour which I intend to backpack alone for at least 5 shows all over Scotland, England and Wales,
I checked out Colston Hall dates, and unbelievably The Cranberries will play there on an evening when Iron Maiden is not playing,
and it falls between dates for Birmingham and Cardiff.
Its a miracle as by taking a public express bus, it will be less than 2 hours from these two places.

So I wait for the tickets to go on sale, and standby at the selling hour in front of the internet on the laptop, BUT DAMN THE FAN CLUB MEMBERS OR SOMETHING HAVE GOT ALL THE MORE FRONT ONES, anyway, still not bad, and its unique that Colston Hall sells their tickets to their own performance hall.
Its a physical ticket, and Colston Hall personally sent the ticket to me and a very very reasonable cheap price for the postage.

I am very impressed and super happy.
I may not be able to see Iron Maiden play in Dublin, but one of Ireland's finest band is playing Colston Hall right in the middle of Iron Maiden UK Tour rest day.

Seems Colston Hall is all seater when I try to get a front of stage ticket, and fortunately I think Cranberries will play acoustic so its not so bad.
A rest day from the mad , lunatics, crazy , looney tunes environment of front of stage Iron Maiden for a sitting down performance of The Cranberries acoustic playing "their greatest hits" as advertised.

I hope Animal Instinct will be played. I love this song. I thought it was a happy song back in year 2000, I WAS a bit WRONG, because I come across the video for the song and I realised its a sort of miserable depressing song but well... thats life as long as these 3 are happy.

And surely, greatest hits means including "songs never released as a single?
Because DAFFODIL LAMENT has to be played.
There was a time a vote was done for the fans to choose their favourite "non-single" song, or a song that appears on albums but never release as a single.
DAFFODIL LAMENT won it.
This song is like a emotional roller coaster with sweet time changes.

Play the above two songs, with When You're Gone and Be With You and I am very happy. LOL!!

OK OK, cam aku cakap kat atas, tentu ada korang pun yang dengar bootlegs Iron Maiden tahu pasal rakaman bootleg Bristol Colston Hall 1986 kerana ia memperdengarkan terutama cammana Iron Maiden bawak lagu2 live dari album Somewhere In Time.
Tak silap aku rakaman ni yang first aku tahu cammana dorang guna intro tape Caught Somewhere In Time, dan jugak cammana Bruce bawak korus Sea Of Madness nye lagu kalau live haha.
Dan rakaman ini yang memperdengarkan kat aku lagu Snowman, lagu katun yang Ritchie Blackmore solo untuk salah satu album Rainbow,
kemudian Dave Murray dan Adrian Smith solo untuk tour 1986 Iron Maiden secara live,
dan kemudian lagu ni dipamerkan kembali untuk peminat muzik dengan NIGHTWISH pun rakam semula lagu ni dengan Tarja akhirnya nyanyikan liriks lagu ni tak macam versi Ritchie Blackmore Rainbow dan Iron Maiden yang hanya main instrumental aje.

Dan bila Belinda Carlise pun beraksi kat Colston Hall, aku memang teruja nak gi tempat ni.

Maaf la, ada orang teruja nak gi sana nak gi sini, tapi... dari segi duniawi, satu tempat aku nak sangat pijak ialah Donington pasal pengaruh dari zaman kecik baca pasal band rock main kat sana, dan aku dah pergi dua kali berlainan tahun. Dan aku cita2 nak gi lagi sekali bila Iron Maiden main kat sana lagi sekali, MUNGKIN BUAT KALI TERAKHIR dua tiga tahun akan datang.

So, bila aku cek Colston Hall nye jadual dan The Cranberries akan main dan jatuh pada hari "off day" antara Maiden main dekat Birmingham(England) dan Cardiff (Wales), dan memang Bristol memang dekat dengan ni dua bandar,

Aku dah cek,
Naik bas tak sampai dua jam dari Birmingham gi Bristol
Dari Bristol gi Cardiff pun tak sampai dua jam naik bas ekpress...

ala... imejin naik bas ekpress dari Larkin JB gi Melaka, atau Melaka gi TBS KL je gitu. HAHA. Bawak beg haversack satu belakang besar giler, satu depan perut kecik sikit. haha. Pakai selipar Jepun!!! Suka aku tengok mat salleh pandang dua kali kalau aku berselipar jepun je gi mana2. Tengok Iron Maiden je baru pakai kasut. Mampos terbukak dan kena pijak la kaki ayam setakat selipar jepun kalau belah depan diri.

.... mampos penat siot aku tiap2 hari tukar2 bandar backpacking naik keretapi, naik bas, tengok rock band main dalam suasana giler babi omputeh.. hahaha.
tapi ni la hidup aku sebagai seorang peminat rock and roll band.

so, aku terus tunggu hari jualan tiket, aku bertenggek kat internet.

Itu pun dapat seat tak depan sangat... row depan semua orang dah beli. Celaka.

Colston Hall ni ada seats, jadi tengok la penonton macam mana, kalau semua diri, dah jadi show berdiri la kan, terutama kalau semua rush kedepan. Tapi, rasanya tak kot, pasal Cranberries dah iklankan dorang akan main akaustik.

So tengok cammana....... Mat Jenin dengan angan2 nya... sama macam aku dengan yo-yo-oh backpacking ikat perut sorang2 main redah je pasal nak tengok Iron Maiden main atas pentas kat lain2 tempat dan suasana giler babi huru hara omputeh.

Tapi... ingat...DREAMERS MAY DIE, BUT THEIR DREAMS LIVE ON!!!

Anway,
macam ramai korang yang aku rasa memang ramai la, masa zaman sekolah dulu, beli, atau dubbing atau "pinjam kawan punya tak kasi balik" kaset Belenggus Iramas waktu keluar kat kedai kaset.
Purely pembelian dan pendengaran hanya kerana kat sekolah budak2 melayu semua cakap """best" band baru nama Wings, kaset dorang baru keluar, ada empat orang.""
Dan tu la zaman Vandalisma merata2 dengan logo2 Wings kat meja dalam kelas kena conteng.

So,
memang tu jam Joe takde dalam Wings, so tak pernah menjadi soalan hingga hari ni peminat minat kumpulan Wings pasal Joe sahaje. Pasal Joe tak pernah wujud kaset pertama. Dan fans dah minat dari kaset pertama muncul kat kedai tanpa apa2 iklan, cam aku cakap purely , hanya kerana mulut ke mulut sahaja waktu tu.
Tu jam kena carik sokkabar Malaysia, yang Mama Juwie selalu tulis2 tu...
nanti ada la cerita2 sikit2 sekali2 Scandals, ahhh ada la hensem barger gitaris nye foto kat artikel Scandals.

Tapi,
sejak dia masuk, untuk aku ye, untuk aku, dialah segalanya.
Dialah heart and soul dan penyelamat, dan pada aku la dia main peranan "Onwards meng"catapult" kan Wings ke tahap hari ini".
Dia "drive" the band.
Hingga Wings jadi so exclusive dengan boleh cakap punyai hardcore fans yang ramai giler merata South East Asia. Ramai fans sanggup travel untuk Wings, baik tua muda lelaki pompuan.
Tak banyak band Melayu yang kita boleh cakap gitu.
Bila malam yang show 4 jam Wings 30 Tahun Stadium Merdeka , bila Awie sebut satu2 negeri, sebut satu2 negara,
dan bila dia sebut Bangladesh dan Myanmar, aku takkan terkejut kalau betul ada fans dari Bangladesh dan Myanmar yang betul2 datang untuk that sekali saje dalam hidup akan terjadi persembahan dan peristiwa dengan hujan lebat semua dan memang tak berganjak semua, a very special once in a lifetime experience tu.
Maybe dorang punyai "travelling fans" paling ramai dalam sejarah muzik melayu aku rasa.
Seperti mana aku rasa dengan Iron Maiden kalau muzik omputeh.
(OK OK, aku tahu ada mamat melayu Singapore nak gi tengok Adele kena carik tiket kat Austrialia nye show hahaha and that ladies and gentleman is PASSION for MUSIC.)
So sedih kalau macam diremeh-temehkan dan seperti takde apa terjadi.
WALAU SUMPAH!! AKU HARAP REPORTER NEWSPAPER JE SEPERTI BIASA SUKA SENSASIKAN DAN NASIK TAMBAH!!!!

Irregardless sapa pun main gitar untuk Wings, asal brand name nya Wings, maka aku terpaksa telan dan terima.
Wings akan tetap diminati, they deserve it.

untuk aku sendiri, aku pernah tengok Wings on Stage, dengan guna moniker "Wings" tanpa Joe dan jugak Eddie.
Awie dan Black saje tapi brand name untuk persembahan guna nama Wings.
Awie cuma cakap "Joe dan Eddie kirim salam".
Kat Singapore suatu masa dahulu dahulu zaman purbakala.
Tapi..
Wings malam tu is like a Support Act je la. Seriously semua bertenggek pasal Gergasi2 Heavy Metal Muzik Melayu Singapore - Rusty Blade dan Rockers main lepas tu haha.
So nothing new untuk aku tengok Wings, iklan Wings tapi gitaris or gitaris2 lain.
Sayang tu jam, aku personally belum start "tape""bootlegging" band2 aku minat yang main live.

So,
aku rasa ada jugak korang macam aku , paling minat dan rasa Wings terbaik bila sebagai PURE WINGS. Empat orang sahaja.
Keyboards pun takde.

After that, Rokestra style start to come in,
and Taman Rashidah Utama is forever "destroyed" to me personally. To me je la. Aku gigil bahu kalau teringat intro2 lagu zaman2 Rokestra tu. Bukan kejap... lama..... BERTAHUN2.
Setiap show, everytime aku dapat tengok Wings main baik kat KL, Singapore, JB, dalam hati cakap, tolong la main style dalam kaset, tapi hampa.

So,
Memories banyak jugak kan zaman tengok Joe dengan Wings kalau live la untuk aku.
Kalau zaman kaset album studio, dan seterusnya cd2 album studio, cerita sampai besok pun tak abis.

Soalan? Kenapa lagu ni dimainkan tapi takde dalam cd live atau vcd live?
Pasal Awie silap masa lagu ni. What a waste, Joe nye intro untuk lagu ni masa show malam tu was the bomb. Tak silap aku masa Awie "make that mistake", Joe was like looking at him haha.
"Ides of March"untuk tiga2 Double Trouble. Aku tahu pasal aku gi tiga2 show Double Trouble kat KL tempat kuda tu yang menyusahkan aku sebagai pengguna publik transport, kat Stadium Larkin dan kat Indoor Stadium Singapore.
So,
Aku takkan terkejut kalau show2 yang Joe perform dengan mana2 band lain lepas ni ada lagu Iron Maiden. Hahaha.

ahhhh MONOLOG. Aku happy gi show Istana Budaya untuk BONGKAR Takkan Melayu Hilang Di Dunia nye Wings show.

Monolog Joe was simply the best among the four. Syahdu, bermakna, dan kat tengah tiba2 gitar solo.

First time aku tengok Joe combine ngan Hillary bukan kat Rokestra 2013,
tapi kat Johor, stadium tertutup Johor Bahru.
Tu jam memang aku menyumpah, aku ada dua tiket show untuk Larkin dan Stadium Merdeka Search 25 Tahun kan? Dengan band Wak Kang, Slank.
Last2 entah apa jadi Larkin kensel, Johor pulak kena banjir besar, Search tak main Stadium Merdeka show anniversary dorang sendiri, dan sapa ganti? WINGS Jugak.... WINGS jugak cover.
Aku masih ingat, aku ada tiket kat tangan untuk 25 Years Anniversary Search + Slank yang Search last minit withdraw, aku ada kat A&W Mydin Puduraya tu, tapi aku tak gi Stadium Merdeka petang tu.. I got more important things to do come to think of it. Tapi I was there not far away that evening dengan tiket dalam poket. (Side track - Aku total 3 kali dah beli tiket show untuk Search yang semua kensel - satu Singapore , satu JB, satu KL. haha.. padan muka aku support Search in advance. Tapi tetap tak belajar, tetap in advance kalau beli tiket lepas tu baik tiga2 tempat ni, tapi ni blog pasal Wings not Search haha).

Simply amazing pakai digital rekoder, kalau zaman dulu pakai tape rekoder, mampos la kaset dah abis 2 jam haha. kena tukar side lagik...

Tak lebih tak kurang. Aku suka beli tiket, datang, enjoy the band, hati aku hurray hurray, tengok reaksi orang keliling enjoy ke tak, cuba tape pasal aku suka dengar bootlegs band main live yang aku rakam sendiri because its pure apa aku alami dan aku boleh re-live it.
And kalau band omputeh yang paling banyak kali aku tengok main live dan ketagih tahap kronik ialah Iron Maiden, maka band Melayu yang paling banyak kali aku tengok ialah Wings.
So korang boleh paham la ye betapa aku minat dan macam aku cakap, zaman jahiliah, hanya nak tido kat bangku2 simen kat Puduraya lama dengan mereka yang merempat, tak jadi hal pasal dah 1 pagi, 2 pagi, nak kena tunggu Subuh baru transport jalan semula.
Sebelum aku backpack merata ikat perut gi negri2 omputeh untuk Maiden, aku training dengan ikut Wings. Hahaha.
Cuma maybe regrets I never see them play at East Malaysia, aku selalu fikir aku nak tengok Wings main kat East Malaysia. MESTI HAPPENING fans rock bands sana ye tak? Tapi aku always tangguh dan nasib baik la jugak aku tangguh, kensel manjang.
Dua shows yang zaman dulu, yang aku terngangah je dengar cerita aku takde ialah...
dua2 kat Singapore aku tak pergi, tapi paham la tu jam zaman sekolah kan..
Wings open untuk Europe,
dan satu festival kat Sentosa, Bon Jovi main prime time, tapi lepas Bon Jovi main baru Wings main sebagai penutup.
Ini dua show aku dengar cerita dan macam.. ooohhh dear. haha. Tapi you cannot have everything in life ye tak?

Anyway
cakap pasal Iron Maiden ni..
Kalau band ada dua gitaris, dan satu gitaris keluar, impact dia tak sangat.
Dan unless band tu cam, main songwriters, tukang tulis lagu ialah bassist, singer, drummer, so tak terjejas.
Dan ingat eh!! Ni aku cakap pasal Iron Maiden eh....
Even waktu penyanyi Bruce keluar dulu,
yang kasi kata putus untuk band terus berkarya ialah kalau aku tak salah bukan Steve Harris pasal tu jam dia masalah rumahtangga,
tapi Dave Murray.
Dan yang jadi spokesman, cakap kat majalah, media ialah Steve dan Nicko McBrain sebagai utama.
Dan Janick makin kedepan sebagai penulis lagu.
Siap dorang siapkan 3 lagu terlebih untuk album seterusnya yang pada aku lagi sedap.

2. Incoming - Rasa ramai tahu, setiap show Metallica, dorang akan rakam, lepas tu MIXED, dan jual kat peminat, samada yang pergi show tu atau sapa2 yang nak khas sesebuah rakaman show untuk apa sebab pun. So, tu hari aku try la, beli satu, show Singapore untuk bulan August 24hb 2013.
Dahsyat sound dia, ni bukan macam official bootleg, tapi dah macam live album kualiti dia...
Nanti la lain kali review...

3. Blaze Bailey, dari dulu aku puji manjang je beliau ni. 2. METALLICA, and the fever has not died down after their REVIVAL inside my heart,
with their amazing new album, and their live in Singapore show in January 2017 which I have nothing but praises.

So I tried purchasing one of their official live cds which they sell at their STORE.
As a form of memory, and certainly the Singapore 2013 shows has a very nice setlist quite heavy with ...AJFA stuffs.
The sound is awesome and mixed.
AND THE PACKAGING SUPERB.
I had pre-ordered the Singapore show, I think the cover is pretty sweet.

3. BLAZE BAILEY, I surely love this singer, love his character, wishing him the best in his musical career and his personal life.
If you go thru my blog, or the labels, you guys can see how much I try to support his solo works as much as possible, depending on my budget LOL!!!
But its always nice... he signs your name on certificates, and book, and cds and whats whats.

So I think he was asked to choose 10 songs from Iron Maiden he was not involved in.
THE RESULT IS PURE POETRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing words , beautiful narration, such love and respect he has for the band.

I am sure, he will be there on stage with the other 6 guys before Maiden call it a day. And I want to be there. Maybe the new Olympic Stadium in London? (WEST HAM UNITED new home).

Former Wolfsbane and Iron Maiden singer Blaze Bayley is about to embark on an absolutely epic tour. We asked him to choose his favourite Iron Maiden songs... that Bruce Dickinson sang

"My hero was Ronnie James Dio," Blaze Bayley told Classic Rock last year. "He worked until he died. And that’s what I intend to do. All that matters now is that I just keep going. For me, that is the dream.”

The former Iron Maiden and Wolfsbane man is true to his word. He's currently a few dates into an epic European tour that leapfrogs across Europe from The Balkans to The Baltic, criss-crossing the continent from Spain to Scandinavia via all points in-between, including a performance at the inaugural Heavy Scotland festival in April (full dates below).

There's 73 shows on the schedule, calling in at rock clubs in towns so far off the beaten track you find yourself checking Google to confirm their existence (and yes, there really is a club named after Lemmy in Kaunas, Lithuania's second-largest city). And there's not a personalised 747 in sight.

We asked Blaze to come up with a list of his favourite Iron Maiden songs... that he didn't sing on. And he came up with poetry.

Blood Brothers

So many beautiful melodies and a melancholy vibe. I like this song so much I did my own acoustic version with Thomas Zwijsen. It feels so sad and so big and dramatic, and for me is one of the best maiden songs ever. If I want to introduce someone with no idea — or the wrong idea — about metal, this is the song I play them. This one song, above all others, proves Steve Harris is a songwriting genius.

The Wicker Man

Every big lovely powerful Maiden thing I love packed into a glorious 4 minute 37 second package. I was actually asked to perform this song at the wedding of a huge Maiden and Blaze Bayley fan. I loved singing it, and feeling the big ooohs and chorus with my own voice was so nice.

Anyone should try to sing songs they like. You don't have to be good at singing. Don't worry about what other people think! It's the truest and best connection and expression of any song that moves you: Your own voice feeling the melody and the lyric in your body, and then moving it through the air as your own emotion. We all know this when we're at a concert and live and shine with our own voice, as part of the huge voice of the crowd, lifting each one of us higher than we can reach on our own.

The Wicker Man pulls me to a small Scottish island and makes me play the fool before I am burned alive. It is the curse of this love: that even if I knew what was waiting for me, I would still go gladly to my doom because of this music.

Wasted Years

Truth is here. A girl in Monterey, Mexico sang this softly to me in the hotel hoping it would be in the set list because it was her favourite Iron Maiden song. It wasn't. I never had the chance to perform this giant song live while I was the band.

When you find a truth — a deep universal truth — something that everyone has felt, and put that into a lyric, then find the melody to bring that lyric to life, then find the music that tells people these emotions are real. That's when you have the elements to create immortality in music. This song could never win a Grammy award because it is simply too real and too beautiful. All other Grammy Winners would be shown up to be egotistical self-important fakes or just very ordinary compared to a band that survived the World Slavery tour. Loneliness and regrets and missing home and feeling helpless and always moving somewhere, but never moving in the direction of home, and when you're with them at home, the ones you miss now so much, you were waiting for something else, you weren't really there at all, and know you cant be there. You understand but it is too late. So understand, and realise you are living in the golden years. I often have this song in my acoustic set. It feels big, raw, emotional and true.

The Trooper

This is greatness. This is legend. This is death. As I lay forgotten and alone, lost to all I loved and who loved me, my death is meaningless. The power and rhythm of the young men that cast this cruel spell over a million other men was undeniable. We were seduced by the power, enslaved by the rhythm, and sacrificed on a new wave of idolatry. I saw them and worshipped them at Birmingham Odeon where they made me a power slave. Again when I was lost somewhere in time. If you have never listened to this song, then I beg of you, do not listen to it now. Those of us who have are not as we were before. We cannot go back. Everything where you are now is ordinary. We have heard greatness. We have seen it. We know its name. We have fallen under its spell, and we are in love with it.

Fun can be bloodcurdling.

Infinite Dreams

It has no proper chorus and so sets itself free of any conventional song writing rules that I am aware of. An idea loyal and true to itself. Anguish melancholy and questioning your own existence and your god. A perfectly building nightmare. The shades and tones of Bruce Dickinson on this song define magnificent. The lyric is delivered on a melody that is irresistible until it becomes ominous. Then he lures me towards the centre of his nightmare.

Terrifying and gorgeous.

Aces High

An impossible song. Too fast. Too high. Too catchy. Too uplifting.

Popular with Maiden tributes, but very rarely can any of those happy-hearted hopefuls ever get close to the precision required to get near to the original album recording. It has alway felt to me that Iron Maiden were proving something to themselves with this song. I'm probably wrong and I've never had a conversation with any of the guys in the band that would back up or justify my opinion. But I stick with it anyway.

I like to imagine them in the rehearsal room being really fed up with Judas Priest and coming up the greatest song ever written about the Battle of Britain. There was a momentary space and time anomaly on the afternoon they wrote it. From 1940 Winston Churchill glimpses a possible future where five free British men gather to write a song celebrating victory. In 1984 five of the finest musicians Great Britain has ever produced feel Churchill's frustration as the future of our nation is almost lost. Churchill tells his cabinet ministers he will die spitting blood on the floor of the House of Commons rather than surrender. In the rehearsal room Steve Harris shouts across the room to his drummer, as the guitar solo approaches, faster Nico!

Nico finds the extra speed for the song, as the spitfires in the skies found the extra speed courage and determination to stop the evil that threatened to engulf Churchill and the country he led on those dark perilous days between July and October in 1940. We will never surrender.

Run To The Hills

The future is here. Back then. But now.

Listening to this as a young man on headphones on my parents stereo felt a little bit awkward . I started to have the feeling that this music would break the stereo, because it was so different to the Satchmo my father listened to. Dickinson was the future voice of maiden. It was 1982. This song still gives me some of the excitement of the first few times I heard it even now.

Hallowed Be Thy Name

A huge and powerful lament. The condemned man at the centre of this masterpiece does not protest his innocence. Instead, he admits his fear of his own imminent death and his dread of the unknown. As verses end the music takes through the agony of the the last seconds and to the final breath of the hanging man. The death rattle, and it leaves me with the feeling that there is a human soul that has escaped the tyranny and injustice of his age.

The Bruce Dickinson version, not the original studio version. Does what it says on the tin: Iron Maiden's gonna get ya, no matter how far.

Actually, they are going to do a UK Tour which unfortunately just miss out on the Iron Maiden UK Tour Dates,
I was actually trying to plan my backpacking trip to catch Maiden but then, I simply cannot match the dates up and I need more money and more time to cross Europe for DM.

Furthermore, its Muslim fasting month of Ramadhan. I hope to have a peaceful one this year, not the rumpus and craziness of last year ACDC, SABBATH , MAIDEN, RAINBOW, Doningtons... LOL!!

Agama Islam dah cakap pasal benda ni dah seribu tahun lebih.
Patut kita orang Islam dah tahu pasal kepentingan air bersih untuk diminum lebih dari orang lain.

Katalah, kalau korang ada air bersih yang boleh dibuat minuman sebanyak semua air lautan dalam dunia ni?
Tapi bila korang ambik air sembahyang,
korang berwuduk, berapa kali maksima? TIGA kan?

Jadi tu la sesuatu kita kena fikir.

Korang jangan lahar aku ok, aku tahu, aku ni calon bila mati masuk oven,
tapi, tak dinafikan betapa penting nya air bagi aku.

Seperti aku kasi contoh2 kat segmen bahasa omputeh kat atas.
Seperti aku cakap, sebagai calon bila mati masuk oven
aku tengok orang kat mesjid ambik wuduk,
pasal cam gitu aku belajar,
aku tengok orang baik nye perangai,

Dan terbalik yang guna air sikit ialah dressing biasa, yang bukak air paip punya la kuat menderu2 ialah geng yang imej world.
Sorry eh, ni bukan semua... tapi you know what I am talking about. Dont deny it.

OK, ada korang cakap, "kita bayar apa, bayar bil air apa", tapi ni bukan masalahnya, kalau kau kaya cam Sultan Brunei pun, tapi kalau takde air bersih untuk minum cammana?
ok la boleh cakap bersihkan diri, all that pakai air laut tapi nak survive kena minum air pe.
Takde air, kejong siot.

So, sayangi air. HORMAT air.
Jangan aniaya air bersih yang sumber kita minum.

Aku tahu betapa berat bila ada catuan air. Kaum pompuan pun kena angkat air dalam baldi berat2 naik tangga duduk rumah flet.
Aku tahu betapa berat bila air paip tak mengalir. Kau gi Supermarket dan kedai, setakat air suling, air dalam tong 5 liter dah habis licin.
Ada la kat supermarket tu ada tapi cuma tinggal brand mahal - SPRITZER. Brand mahal!!

Betul tak semua aku cakap? BETUL KAN???
Tu baru berapa hari atau minggu takde air.
Kalau permanent?

Anyway... aku selalu berharap, satu hari nanti manusia dianugerahkan kepandaian ubah air laut, dan air longkang air najis kepada air boleh diminum dan suci lagi mensucikan DENGAN HARGA MURAH.
Teknologi tu ada sekarang tapi tak banyak negara mampu wujudkan teknologi ni kerana mahal sangat dan perlukan kepakaran,
walaupun dilahar oleh sesetengah orang sebagai minum air kencing atau air taik,
tapi cam aku cakap, kau ejek dan hina gitu, kau dah ejek nikmat Allah beri kat manusia.
Tapi well.....

Selagi tu, tengok la tv ke sokkabar ke, kat banyak tempat dalam dunia orang takde air minuman cammana derita.

Aku tak paham orang2 ni semua perang2 pakai senjata paling brutal dan ganas, bunuh semua orang..

Senjata paling kuat dalam dunia ialah air bersih untuk minuman dan lain2.

Kalau terjadi masalah masyarakat yang tak boleh dikawal sesiapa, ia ialah pasal air.
Kalau Perang Dunia Ketiga jadi, ia ialah pasal air .

So fikir la...

Lets start the review/opinion and ulasan of Def Leppard's Pyromania Deluxe Edition in Bahasa Melayu and then in English.
As usual I try to make the contents different,
usually the Bahasa Melayu one will be more gossipy. LOL!!

Untuk korang peminat lagu rock melayu dan omputeh,
satu antara dua ni akan berlaku dalam hidup korang.

Sama ada
a) korang dengar lagu FOOLING dulu, lepas tu dengar BERPALING dari Search.
ATAU
b) korang dengar lagu BERPALING dari Search dulu, lepas tu baru dengar lagu FOOLING.

tapi salah satu atas ni, selalu terjadi, lumrah hidup korang sebagai seorang peminat rock n roll band.

Kenangan kan ni semua.
Pyromania ni asalnya tahun 1983 dulu, dan versi deluxe ni ialah tahun 2009 keluar.

First sekali aku nak cakap, kalau aku cuma boleh pilih satu album Def Leppard aku akan pilih album Slang, aku pernah blog pasal Slang dua kali, satu kali untuk Slang double CD, dan lagi sekali bila Special Edition Slang keluar.
Aku siap beli single2 dari album Slang pasal aku nak versi live lagu2 dari album Slang.
Slang ni unik, terkeluar ring gitu...
ok, balik ke tajuk perbincangan dan berbual syok sendiri.
Jadi aku akhirnya memiliki cd Pyromania. Aku tengok kat gerobok aku tak pernah nampak la. haha.
Kaset memang....
Zaman sekolah dulu, pakai Walkman ye tak.
SEMUA LAGU GEREK, sepuluh sepuluh lagu Terbaik dari ladang.
Aku paling tak suka lagu Fooling dalam kaset Pyromania ni. Pasal cam gagap gitu. Macam bas ekpress KKKL. Korang tahu tak, kalau kat rumah sebut bas KKKL katalah beli tiket bas express KKKL kan? tak panggil KKKL tau, tapi panggil "Bas Gagap".

Gurau je eh, jangan terasa... hidup zaman ni memang stress, cakap sikit je kecik hati, marah2. haha.

Aku paling suka lagu Comin'Under Fire dan lagu Stagefright.
Seronok giler dua dua lagu ni.
Tapi apa pun setiap lagu gerek... dan Die Hard The Hunter bila part gitar solos tu kan, gerek giler.

Jadi sapa belum memiliki tapi nak cukupkan korum dan masukkan cd Pyromania dalam koleksi korang, Sila tangkap versi Deluxe Edition kerana bukan saja Pyromania tapi cd yang kedua dalam bungkusan ini ialah sangat hebat, live songs dari persembahan 1983 mereka kat Los Angeles.
Dahsyat, dan best sangat. Evergreen.
Versi live giler babi nye istimewa sangat zaman dorang memang hebat tahun 1983 dulu -
6 lagu dari album Pyromania, 2 dari album On Through The Night, 6 dari album High N Dry, dan satu lagu cover Travelling Band dengan Brian May dari Queen.
So memang sapa minat Def Leppard, ni peluang memiliki live album rasmi dengan persembahan dan sound terbaik dari zaman tiga album pertama bila mereka memang rock.

dan ingat, ni zaman paling best Def Leppard,
-RICK ALLEN MASIH ADA DUA TANGAN. Belum eksiden putus tangan lagik.
-STEVE CLARK MASIH HIDUP. Hensem eh dekni.. aku suka dia tapi kaki botol rabak nye kot.

-PHIL COLLEN MASIH PAKAI BAJU. Geli siak aku tengok dia sekarang. Sebab tu aku tak mau gi tengok Def Leppard main, buat apa aku bayar tiket, abis tu aku geli tengok Phil Collen tak pakai baju.
OK aku tak kesah orang lain ok aku akan bayar tiket -, Lovehunters tak nak pakai baju, aku alrite, HIGH-ON FIRE memang trademark frontman tak pakai baju berpeluh cam mandi gitu, tapi seronok,
aku berharap dapat tengok High On Fire main lagi sekali, giler babi laju dorang live 3 piece dan gerek nak mampos style heavy metal dorang.
antara band paling terkejut beruk kan aku ni band la.
aku cuma random je tengok apa band ni masa nak tunggu Slayer main satu masa dahulu, sekali tu makkao!! thorbaik.
anyway, balik kepada cerita,

Its a nice read above when Phil Willis got fired during the recordings, and how Phil Collen was brought in.

Pyromania. Deluxe Edition.
Always got the cassette tape, never the CD.
So its time to upgrade to CD and why not the Deluxe Edition.
Deluxe Edition has the Pyromania album remastered
and there is a wonderful 2nd CD of 15 live songs from a 1983 show in LA Forum.

2 songs from Through The Night, 6 songs from High N Dry and 6 from Pyromania. Plus a cover of Travelling Band.

THE 2nd CD is simply worth the reason to purchase this edition. Its so rocking and showing how awesome Def Leppard first 3 albums were.

Anyway, I always love Slang, and I had make a comparison of the original release of Slang Double CD version with the acoustic live 2nd cd, and also the fabulous Slang Deluxe Edition, again a double cd with songs previously unreleased that was as good as anything on the Slang album.

which now Metallica is having problems with EUROPEAN fans for the 2017 European Tour where lots of tickets are ending up at the wrong hands, and not directly to the fans at cheaper official prices.

So, I am not going to buy all the vinyls.
Money for personal entertainment and personal earthly pleasures have to be carefully manouvered for maximum 666/666 satisfaction.
My strategy right now is to see my favourite band or bands live.
If I live longer, and my favourite band/bands are retired,
and thats when I start buy more of their re-released items.
I will maybe slowly buy one at a time. LOL!!

But right now,
I JUST WANT THE BOX first!! Thats all. LOL!!
I can collect this version vinyl albums slowly next few years, or wait till they retire. LOL!!

Dorang main style heavy metal miring ke thrash metal. Terbaik sangat pada aku segalanya pasal album ni dari segi lagu dan bungkusan, jadi aku terus sambar versi cetakan Jepun pasal cam biasa versi Jepun ada nasik tambah.
- Gary Moore Live At Montreux 2010. Rakaman rasmi live terakhir Gary Moore sebelum dia mati.
Kalau versi CD, hanya cetakan Jepun je yang penuh kena sumbat 2 cd, kalau versi biasa/Eropah hanya satu CD.
Kenapa aku sambar versi Jepun terus? kerana semua lagu dalam show tersebut ada dalam 2 cd versi Jepun. Pada aku ni antara live album / live video paling dahsyat aku pernah menghayati. - GARY MOORE BUAT SHOW CONDONG KE ARAH PILIHAN LAGU2 DIA YANG HEAVY METAL - Senang cakap.. tiga lagu baru tak pernah dimainkan sebelumnya, dan lagu2 dari album solo yang bernama Wild Frontiers yang memang heavy rock nak mampos.
- Depeche Mode "SPIRIT" - band paling unik dan gelap untuk aku dari aku sekolah sampai sekarang.
Takkan ada band serupa Depeche Mode. Band2 Metal berlumba2 nak bersaing sapa lagi evil, tapi entah pada aku DM semula jadi dari zaman 80an lagi. Dan album ni condong ke arah politikus dan sentap jiwa aku, emosi aku tergugat dengar album SPIRIT ni. Mendayu dayu.

Nanti aku tunjuk dan borak merapek meraban satu2 ok lain kali. Kalau ada kesempatan la haha.

Its a case of better late than never. Like I say, English Rock Bands have been invading my heart, mind and soul since I was a little boy, not even comprehending English language then.
Now, 666 years later, English Rock Bands, I mean, newer English Rock Bands continue to dominate me. Thats why I like to check out new young bands in Donington.
In this case, Savage Messiah is simply playing very good Heavy/Thrash Metal. Full showing of the awesome Japanese content and packaging soon.

I want an original audio version of the full show, unfortunately the normal version does not have that as it comes as one cd. Only the Japanese version has the full show as an audio 2cd format. I simply love Gary Moore when he plays Heavy Rock and this show's setlist and the 3 new songs are simply heavy like fuck.

Depeche Mode "Spirit". (1 cd cheap version)
The Masters. Non more black, non more evil. The Kings of all Masters and Servants. I like this album. Slow burner, burning in my heart!

3rd placing apa aku suka tadi - Setiap lagu gerek, persembahan gerek dan dahsyat sangat. Sila tengok Prime Domestic untuk sapa belum tengok dorang main live.
2nd placing apa aku suka tadi - Setiap lagu Search, muka Hillary Ang berseri2 senyum manjang, happy sangat dia, dan bila dia solo2 lagu2 tu yang memang dia yang gitaris original lagu2 tersebut, macam menceritakan kegembiraan dan kenangan terpancar kat muka dia. Meniti Titian Usang dan Sebatang Tongkat Untuk Berdiri tadi... was like worth the price ticket alone.
1st placing apa suka tadi - Walau semua lagu gerek, tapi tiga lagu baru original Prime Domestic ialah paling best of the best. Aku suka band sentiasa main lagu baru. Lagu lama tak dilupakan tapi cam aku suka cakap kat blog aku, aku suka band2 yang aku minat sentiasa main lagu baru, dan stay relevant. Jangan lah asyik ulang ulang zaman kegemilangan zaman dulu. Ni pada aku la, masing2 nye citarasa.
Aku harap Prime Domestic akan banyak2 buat lagu baru dan keluar full album, dan harap semua lagu, ada sumbangan dari band members sendiri. All 3 new songs dalam single terbaru is by Joe Wings. Semua sedap dan macam rentak - fast , mid tempo, slow.

Man Of The Match untuk aku - Drummer. Nama dia Ainoll. Terbaik , Showmanship First Class dan powerhouse octopus.

Conclusion - Aku nak gi backpack tengok Iron Maiden main merata UK bulan 5 ni, dan lepas aku tengok Prime Domestic main tadi, aku cakap kat diri aku, Maiden baik main giler babi nye best of the best untuk 5 shows aku nak tengok dorang untuk tahun 2017,
pasal kalau tidak mungkin aku akan pilih PRIME DOMESTIC main tadi sebagai best live show aku tengok untuk 2017. Terutama kekuatan tiga lagu baru mereka yang mereka mainkan tadi.

Ni ayat atas ni compliment paling best aku boleh beri kat persembahan Prime Domestic tadi.
Korang sendiri tahu aku kat blog ni Advocate band rock Melayu dan memang berat sebelah aku akan puji dan sokong band rock Melayu tak kesah dari Malaysia atau Singapore dan aku anggap mereka setanding band rock omputeh. Sila lahar aku but ni keyboard dan wifi untuk tenet ni pun bukan korang punye aku pakai.
Aku harap line up ni tak ubah. What a show - Joe + Hillary Ang + Aweera + Fauzi bassist + drummer Ainoll plus keyboardist.

Kalau aku buat silap ke hapa ke, maaf aku tak tidur dah lama, Hari Sabtu aku dah kerja malam, abis kerja, aku rush dari Singapore gi JB, kat Larkin carik tiket bas, rush balik KL naik bas ekpres, balik rumah Malaysia relak kejap, terus lepas Magrib naik LRT gi Ampang Park.
Ni aku tak mau tidur pasal aku kejap lagi nak naik bas ekpres pasal hari ni hari Isnin aku kerja petang pulak. So aku plan nak tidur dalam bas ekpres je.

Serious berbual, ni la salah satu cabang kehidupan aku, sebagai seorang peminat rock n roll band. Sapa baca blog ni memang tahu la kegilaan aku sanggup buat apa saje untuk band2 domestik Malaysia dan Singapore dan jugak backpack sorang2 untuk Iron Maiden dan band2 omputeh lain.

a) Post ni takde foto. Mungkin nanti kat tenet banyaklah foto2 kejadian tadi kat show tersebut. Kalau aku nak transfer foto dari henfon ke laptop, mungkin kirim salam pasal ambik masa dan aku tahu kalau aku tak taip blog ni sekarang, maka mungkin takkan buat langsung.

b) Penuh sesak. LEBIH DARI FULL HOUSE. MELIMPAH-LIMPAH RUAH penonton. OVERFLOW. Harap promoters/organisers/ sponsors dan band Prime Domestic sendiri akan dapat keyakinan tentang brand name Prime Domestic dengan kehadiran penonton tadi.

c) Hallowed Be Thy Name - ni kelakar... aku terkejut first verse yang nyanyi bassist Fauzi. Ye la, first song kan instrumental, abis HBTN kan second song, aku dah la tak perasan sapa on stage. So aku ingat Aweera takde so pada aku no problem la kan kalau band member lain boleh cover vocal...
OOOHH False Alarm la, terus Aweera masuk masa lagu speed up, walaupun ada sikit berkecah masa nak masuk tu. HAHAHA. Sorry la, ni lagu Iron Maiden siot..., I mean, terkucil sikit pun boleh detect kan? haha.

d) Aweera - Aku macam... eh? ni Rob Halford Judas Priest masuk melayu ke hapa? sudah pekik2 style Rob Halford sey... Dahsyat la Aweera ni. Sedap suara nya dan 2 jam ok dia kena nyanyi lagu2 yang legend semua nya. Bukan mudah.
Harap dia makin terror dan makin punya trademark dan style sendiri. Harap dia stay dalam band ni.

e) Pada aku, seorang gitaris asli/original yang main sesebuah lagu, dan terutama solo dalam lagu tu, dia hanya perlu dapatkan seorang penyanyi handal yang boleh bawa lagu tersebut.
Ni apa RITCHIE BLACKMORE buat bila dia buat persembahan tahun lepas dan June 2017 akan tour UK, dengan gunakan semula nama Rainbow selepas dia menjumpai kehebatan suara Ronnie Romero.
Macam aku cerita masa aku gi backpack tengok Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow main di Jerman tahun lepas, peminat2 satu dunia sanggup travel datang, pasal nak tengok Ritchie Blackmore main balik lagu2 Deep Purple dan Rainbow.
Mintak maaf la sangat, tapi takkan ada orang dalam dunia yang boleh kasi bulu roma kat tengkok kat solo Highway Star, kecuali orang tu ialah Ritchie Blackmore sendiri.
Steve Morse dalam Deep Purple memang dahsyat, tapi takkan sama, bila aku tengok Deep Purple dengan Steve Morse, bila masuk solo2 Ritchie Blackmore..
Aku suka Steve Morse, tapi... betapa apa pun, tu semua solo Ritchie Blackmore kalau lagu2 sebelum tahun 90an dulu..

So harap korang paham la apa aku nak cakap sebagai seorang peminat. Tak payah nak pertikan benda ni semua hanya "Engineer" ke " pakar " ke boleh kasi komen ye?

Aku bayar tiket tengok band buat persembahan. Aku beli cd ori. Aku peminat. Aku luangkan masa, duit, susah payah, dan tanya la sapa2, ingat senang ke ambik cuti atau tak datang kerja pasal nak tengok band kegemaran kita? terutama dengan keadaan ekonomi sekarang? Orang ambik leave untuk famili tapi peminat rock n roll band sanggup ambil leave bukan saje untuk famili matters tapi untuk band kegemaran? dan ikat perut susah payah, lepas duit tolak untuk famili, duit gi kat band kegemaran, tanyalah sapa2..
So aku berhak bersuara pendapat aku walau aku cuma Syok Sendiri sekalipun.

Betapa sapa nak perkecilkan atau lupakan sumbangan Joe dan Hillary kat Wings dan Search, tak kesah pasal YANG PENTING SEKALI IALAH PEMINAT TAK LUPA.

Aku suka pilihan lagu2 Wings ialah dari tiga vokalis Awie, Mel, dan Mus.
Dan aku tak tahu, mana lagi pincang bagi peminat, Wings tanpa Joe? Atau Joe tanpa Wings?

Tak pedulik la kan apa mass media atau artis cakap, tapi tipulah peminat tak rasa kehilangan antara dua ni.

f) Ranjang Mawar tersangatlah terserlah versi heavy nak mampos. Thanks to the drummer. HAHA. Dahsyat dan paling best version ever.

g) Alam Barzakh - Joe nye intro solo tersangat best, dan Aweera "nail this song", Aweera pernah nyanyi lagu ni live sebagai opening act untuk Wings 30 Tahun yang show 4 jam kat Stadium Merdeka dulu.

h) Pasti - aku rasa boleh tanya sesiapa la, antara kenangan manis kalau tengok Search main live ialah kalau lagu terakhir ialah lagu "Pasti".
Salah satu kenangan ialah ini ialah lagu "perang botol air mineral". Berpuluh2? Beratus2 botol air mineral kena lambung dan kena campak dari berbagai arah. Paling teruk kalau ada yang lempar botol air mineral yang masih penuh. So baik letak tangan kat atas kepala kalau Search memainkan lagu "Pasti" sebagai last song. Meriah sungguh lagu ni... kenangan.

i) aku suka show ni jugak band ni having fun. Enjoy gitu. Bassist selalu tampil ke depan dan berganding dengan Joe dan Hillary.
Dan drum dan bass solo bila bergabung masa solo tadi memang awesome.

j) aku nye pendapat la kan, mana2 konsert rock baik melayu atau omputeh, ada waktu bila penyanyi nak cakap sikit, memang kadang2 penyanyi suka berbual2 berceloteh macam Bruce Dickinson, tapi kadang2 tu memang dia dan seluruh band nak tarik nafas kejap.

mestilah ada pause kejap barang seminit dua, minum air atau tarik nafas kejap.

- (patutlah aku pun heran, tempat kecik, dan aku sampai kul 9 gitu, tapi sungguh heran, non-stop peminat keep on datang turun basement level, dan masa PRIME DOMESTIC beraksi, kat tangga2 penuh orang, dan kat atas ground level pun ada orang pasal dinding kaca kan so boleh nampak. Aku siap wassap Zan, show dah nak start, aku masih beratur panjang kat belakang nak tunggu cek tiket hahaha )

Jadi, boleh cakap la dah macam live album rasmi. Memang rasmi, tapi kualiti nya sangat baik.

So for anyone curious about LIVE METALLICA cds at their official online store, this is how the packaging looks like for the physical cds.
As can be checked on the packaging the sound is remixed. Maybe that is the reason there is a waiting time between the shows and the dates the shows are released.
These are the two shows they played in Singapore in 2013 and 2017 and the 1993 show I guess is not available.
The 2017 show is part of the World Wired Tour, and is special because the tour starts in Asia, and the last show was in Singapore. THE NEW SONGS ARE SO FRESH AND EXCITING.
The 2013 show is laden with dot dot dot AJFA stuff. Four songs including the 9min plus title track.

So thats about it. I was going thru the latest setlist of theirs and I think Chile Lollapaloza show has a pretty nice setlist. Maybe next time I would like to order shows that I find has nice songs that I like.

Anyway Montreux ni setiap tahun ialah wujud nama Montreux Jazz Festival, tapi sebenarnya macam2 jenis muzik ada selain jazz.
Dan untuk peminat2 rock tak boleh lari pasal sapa minat Gary Moore dan TOTO tahu dorang selalu main kat festival ni,
dan jugak, pengasas festival ni ialah zaman dulu masa DEEP PURPLE tu yang ada lagu Smoke On The Water yang bangunan tengah terbakar "FUNKY CLAUDE" tengah selamatkan orang kan?
Claude tu juga pengasas Montreux Jazz Festival ni.
Memang rasa ni tempat untuk music lovers kot festival ni.. ok satu hari boleh backpack gi sana kalau Iron Maiden headline HAHAHA.. tak mungkin la kan haha.

Setlist persembahan ni memang dahsyat, Gary Moore drop blues dia,
DIA MEMANG CADANG TAK MAU MAIN LAGU2 BLUES UNTUK TOUR 2010 DAN FOKUS MAIN LAGU2 ROCK DIA ZAMAN SOLO DAN ZAMAN PHIL LYNOTT, TAPI ADA LA SIKIT DIA MAIN LAGU BLUES DIA SATU DUA haha.
YE LA CARIK MAKAN. hahaha.
Still Got The Blues kan popular giler, lagu2 yang radio akan putarkan.
Jadi apa yang peminat cam aku dapat bila Gary Moore main persembahan dengan condong ke arah lagu2 rock dia? Heaven la siak!!
Tapi penggunaan tepat dalam nota dalam ni ialah "celtic rock".

dia combine balik dengan Neil Carters si botak tu, lagu2 dari Wild Frontiers dan After The War yang kalau korang tahu ialah album2 solo dia yang sangat rock, lagu2 zaman Phil Lynott, dan lagu2 slow dia yang terbaik seperti So Far Away/Empty Room yang serious berbual lagu Empty Room sedih giler siot, tiga lagu baru yang tersangat hebat dan rock walau salah satu nya slow rock sedih giler, dan of course lagu2 top dia macam Parisienne Walkway dan tentunya Still Got The Blues yang aku skip hahaha.
Dan tak lupa Gary Moore bermainkan satu lagu dia Nightwish cover version. Yang memang lagu dia tapi terimakaseh kat Nightwish, Gary Moore dapat peminat2 baru yang expose kat lagu2 dia.
(Ni serupa dulu aku kat sekolah, lawak pasal ada budak Cina cakap Scorpions tiru lagu Wind Of Change dari penyanyi Cina. Nasib baik takde budak Melayu buat lawak cakap Scorpions tiru Still Loving You dari Jatt Ali).

OK, divert sikit, untuk sapa tak tahu, aku nak bilang aku dah UPLOAD seluruh audio persembahan Prime Domestic selama 2 jam pada 2nd April 2017 lepas kat House G Tower, Kuala Lumpur.
Terimakaseh banyak la kat kata semangat pasal aku takut masyarakat melayu ni, jarang hargai rakaman bootlegs band2 tak macam masyarakat barat dimana setiap show banyak tapers, lepas show semua tukar rakaman dan rakaman terbaik dikongsi untuk peminat satu dunia sebagai koleksi peribadi dan harta dunia.
So ni rakaman aku, macam biasa pecah rumah nye taping, tapi pasal takde orang lain upload full bootleg, maka aku upload la versi aku yang ok la jugak, tak la hancur sangat haha.

ok balik ke judul berbual syok sendiri kali ni..

Rasanya tentu ada peminat muzik rock melayu yang suka dengar lagu2 Gary Moore dari berbagai zaman terutama bila dia main lagu2 bercorak hard atau heavy rock.
Jadi album ni, yang ada versi video Blue Ray/DVD ni dirakam live Montreux 2010 , enam bulan sebulan Gary Moore mati kat Sepanyol.
Istimewa sangat dan kenapa aku suka giler rakaman live ni sampai aku beli cetakan Jepun pasal aku nak seluruh persembahan dalam 2 cd ni ialah kerana masa persembahan ni, Gary Moore sengaja rancang untuk kurangkan lagu2 Blues, dan main balik lagu2 bercorak Hard Rock dan Heavy Metal dia.
Ini terutama, ceritanya Gary Moore hantar anak2 dia ke sekolah, dan cikgu kat sekolah tu yang dia jumpa ialah si botak Neil Carters.
Neil Carters ni masa muda nya ialah Rhythm Guitarist dan keyboardist bagi kumpulan UFO, dan dia juga main dengan Gary Moore zaman Wild Frontiers.
Dan kita semua tahu, betapa dahsyatnya kerock mamposan sangat album Wild Frontiers.

Jadi mereka bergabung, dengan perjanjian akan main semula lagu2 rock dari album Wild Frontiers dan After The War, dan After The War tu kalau kita tengok pemuzik nya ialah Cozy Powell dan Bob Daisley.
Anyway, selain dari setlist condong ke arah rock, Gary Moore jugak waktu tu dah tiga lagu baru yang tersangat hebat (kalau ikut tulisan kat inlet buku cd ni dia cakap Celtic Rock ke hapa entah) dan perancangan ialah album studio selepas tu Gary Moore akan buat album Hard Rock.

Tapi apa nak buat, Gary Moore dah ajal.

Tapi kenangan album ni, dan video nya... aku rasa akan sangat disenangi dan disukai peminat Gary Moore.
Kalau korang tak minat atau tak tahu Gary Moore, aku rasa korang pun enjoy.

Anyway, aku minat Gary Moore kalau dia main rock, tak kesah la dengan zaman solo, atau zaman Phil Lynott ke hapa ke.
Kalau Gary Moore main blues.. aku ok tapi kureng.. Sebab tu aku giler ngan album live ni.

after an emotional , laptop breaking session in Bahasa Melayu,
this post is just to show the Japanese packaging for the audio cd version of Gary Moore Live In Montreux 2010.
Other versions worldwide carries only one cd which is incomplete show.

Of course the video versions are very popular and the footages on Youtube is going crazy till now,
but I love these recordings so much that I want a full original audio cds version.

In short, as the notes say, Gary Moore meet up again with his Rhythm Guitarist/Keyboards player Neil Carter at school which his children goes.
Neil Carter had stopped performing in rock bands but Gary Moore called him to join forces again, drop all the blues and play Hard and Heavy Rock again, but its referenced in the text and on Neil Carter's own writings in the internet as "CELTIC ROCK".
He wrote 3 new songs, retrieved the Wild Frontiers material.
And they tour and the Montreux 2010 shows was filmed and recorded.

The plan was for a "Celtic Rock" studio album next,
unfortunately Gary Moore died.
If nobody had seen Neil Carter's personal website do check it out. He also plays for UFO.

I think on this album and video, Neil Carter does nearly steal the show.
But as he wrote on his website, after Gary Moore died, he will not play Rock again or something.

So those who have never heard or seen about this Montreux 2010 recordings please do so.
Especially those who love it when Gary Moore drop the blues and just ROCK.

So as the above advertisement says Belinda Carlisle is performing in Singapore coming November 2017. I am not so liking the Tour Name of Heaven's 30th Anniversary, as I am worried the focus is too much songs on Heaven's album.

I would rather a REAL 25th Anniversary to celebrate REAL album. Now that would ROCK!!

I try to find time to finally talk about the Prime Domestic CD Single which I obtained at their live show two weeks back, and the Japanese Only Release of Hanoi Rocks Million Miles Away..

Firstly.. WRATHCHILD?? WHY????I will never understand Steve Harris and Bruce Dickinson mentality in choosing a setlist for PART TWO of their most successful album tour ever.
SURELY THIS IS THE MOST CRAZIEST SUCCESFUL ALBUM TOUR FOR A BAND WITH NO RADIO AIRPLAY OR MASS MEDIA EXPOSURE at a VERY MINIMUM.

2016 has simply an amazing well-balanced setlist for an album tour.

Antwerp Belgium two nights ago, and it was simply suspenseful following the news on the internet as each song is being played in Belgium for fans all over the world.

Great Unknown replacing Tears Of The Clown is amazing but basically swapping Wrathchild for Hallowed Be Thy Name is mind-boggling.

The only valid reason surely is the setlist is very difficult for Bruce as it is.

But still, never mind. Better Wratchild then no more Iron Maiden ever LOL!!

Maiden can just play Wratchchild 5 times in a row and say goodnight and I will still try to be there. LOL!!

Anyway, not many bands with such a long history, dare to play at least 6 new songs each night consuming up to 50 minutes of the stage time, and the audience are loving it and singing to the lyrics and "football chanting" all the melodies and instrumental sections.

A quick post as I require minimum time for thinking as I will be posting lots of snapshots.

but it cannot even fit in Dance Of Death? For The Greater Good Of God? LOL!!

Maybe a Top 100 Iron Maiden songs would be possible for me to try nominating a list.

Susah nak komen Nasik Ambeng ni, makan la 5 kedai/gerai baik di Johor Bahru dan Singapura, dan setiap 5 gerai/kedai tu kandungan nye lain.

Nasik Ambeng ni terpulang masing2 punye citarasa.

Jangan anggap mahal, jangan anggap murah, jangan komplen harga, pasal pandai2lah pilih lauk sendiri kalau nak murah. haha.

OK nari aku review/ulasan/opinion cerita pasal NASI AMBENG MAK UDA. Ni kat belakang Chong Pang Yishun, kat satu gerai kat dalam AA Restaurant kat sepanjang Sembawang Road.

Ni pulak set Nasi Ambeng , katanya hidangan untuk sorang tapi tu hari makan kita dua orang je pun boleh, siap beli tahu goreng gerai lain.

Ni aku tukar sotong dan udang yang sepatutnya ada dengan lauk lain.

I will never see the Beatles, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin and many others performers play live. So the feel is when there are great talents performing tribute acts.
HATS OFF TO LED ZEPPELIN seems has won an award in UK as the best Led Zep Tribute Act.
So I hope I am able to see them play.
It would be nice to get an imaginary feel of the REAL THING, while having a bit of fun.

Seriously, if I live long, and Steve Harris has close the book on Iron Maiden not long from now, the Maiden tribute acts would have an important part to play to sustain the needs of the Maiden fans all over the world.
So HATS OFF TO LED ZEP is playing in Singapore soon. I got a ticket, I hope I am able to go depending on my working shift pattern, and also its the RAMADHAN month. LOL!! (I hope my soul can still be saved. LOL!!)

Macam aku cakap kat atas, BANYAK!, RAMAI! kumpulan2 dan artis2 aku minat aku takkan dapat tengok pasal, dorang dah takde lagi..
ada dah mati, ada dah berpecah, dan ada yang masih wujud tapi aku takkan dapat tengok yang betul.
Jadi apa yang boleh dapat?
Aku cuma boleh dapat tengok Tribute Bands.

Dan ini peluang untuk tengok satu tribute band Led Zeppelin yang memang dinobatkan sebagai antara paling terbaik.

Aku tengok2 youtube awal tahun ni ada rakaman dari Greece, memang dahsyat No Quarters.

Ada macam sesuatu di kerongkong. AKU RASA HIBA sangat.
Sebab tu aku suka sangat John Paul Jones, dia punya mainan keyboards menyentuh sanubari ku.

Untuk aku keyboards lagu ni ialah tersangat cantik. John Paul Jones adalah "water carrier" Led Zep Tukang angkat baldi band Led Zep.
Korang sapa sokong Arsenal ingat tak Gilberto Silva?
Aku sayang giler kat dia, kalau jumpa aku peluk dia.
Dia la pencacai.. dia la tukang basuh jamban pasukan Arsenal.
Turun naik turun naik, matikan bola pasukan lawan, jadi tukang pencacai team, jadi player lain boleh bebas buat sarkis bodohkan team lawan.
Sama la John Paul Jones.
Dan versi ni, minit 3:15 onwards masuk bahagian instrumental... aku nak tengok la. Harap dorang main lagu ni..

ok sesuatu yang rancak. Ni tempat sama Megadeth beraksi di Singapore tu hari, harap kerusi semua masih boleh duduk dan belum pecah dan sompek macam kerusi2 kat stadium bola Bukit Jalil. hahaha)

Ni panjang pasal aku ambik kesempatan cakap sikit pendapat aku tentang beberapa perkara.

Ni mula2 keluar 1992. Kalau korang tengok video live zaman tu di youtube antaranya persembahan mereka di DONINGTON 1992. Mereka antara band termasuk Slayer terbabit untuk DONINGTON Monsters Of Rock tahun tersebut dimana IRON MAIDEN menjadi headliners.

Tahun tu jualan tiket 70,000 je pasal masa 1988 Maiden headline dah dua peminat mati pasal lumpur dan asakan penonton 107,000 masa GNR beraksi siang hari.
Tapi aku dah gi Donington dua kali tengok Maiden headline dan dua2 hari Maiden headline rasanya 80-90,000 datang kot. Tapi dah dialihkan tempat pasal memang padang Donington besar giler, boleh isi berapa banyak airport gitu kat kawasan terbuka tu.

Nanti aku link kat bawah korang tengok video tu kat belah bumbung semua lampu2 show Iron Maiden dah dipasang, dan kat belakang pentas pun dah ditutup kain hitam segala stage set Maiden.
Ni ialah Donington di mana keluar cd dan video tape Iron Maiden Live In Donington 1992.
(ada minit ke berapa entah kamera fokus kat penonton siap bawak gitar kadbod lagik).

Jadi album THE CRIMSON IDOL ni memang terbaik dan sangat dahsyat kehebatan nya.
Sepatutnya jadi album solo Blackie Lawless tapi last minit jadi album kumpulan WASP.

Album ni ialah album konsep. Dan istimewanya, kebanyakkan lagu akan membawakan tema dan melodi sama berulang iaitu antaranya "Only Love Can Set Me Free", dan "Long Live The King Of Mercy".
Suara Blackie Lawless dalam album ni menyentuh jiwa.

Ceritanya ialah pasal Jonathan Steel ni anak kedua dalam satu keluarga dan mak bapak dia hanya beri perhatian dan kasih sayang kat anak sulong saje. Iaitu abang Jonathan.
Jonathan nasib macam kentang, kena pukul ngan bapak dan mak dia pun tak suka dia.
Nak jadi cerita,
masa Jonathan 14 tahun abang dia mati eksiden kena langgar pemandu mabuk kot? (haha.. aku dah lupa la cerita dia eksiden kereta, tapi tak tahu mabuk kot drebar lagi satu).
So abang dah mati pun.. Jonathan tetap tidak dipeduli dan siap dipukul lagi.
So Jonathan lari dari rumah, jadi budak nakal, satu hari dia pecah masuk kedai guitar, dan dia beli gitar yang Crimson tu... (warna seakan Merah pekat tu).
Jadi nak pendekkan cerita, Jonathan jadi rock star.
Satu hari dia telepon mak bapak dia, pasal dalam hidup dia, dia cuma nak rasa kasih sayang dari ibu bapa, sekali tu borak borak kejap, tiba2 mak dia cakap yang dia takde anak dah...

Jonathan kecewa, malam tu masa persembahan dia ambil string gitar dari gitar warna Crimson merah dia buat ikatan tali gantung, dan dia gantung diri.
Jonathan mati, bunuh diri kecewa mak bapak dia masih tak mau terima dia sebagai seorang anak,walaupun dia dah besar, dah kira berjaya dalam hidup.

OK, kalau 1992 waktu album ni keluar, album ni cuma ada 10 lagu.
Tapi tahun 1998 waktu album ni keluar remastered dah ada bacaan cerita pasal Jonathan ni dibaca oleh Blackie Lawless.
Dan kalau korang jumpa versi double cd memang terbaik pasal ada dua lagu studio yang aku tak tahu bersangkut paut jugak tak dengan konsep dan tema dan jalan cerita album ni,
dan jugak ada banyak lagu dari persembahan mereka di Donington 1992 yang aku cerita kat atas tu.
Jugak termasuk satu cover lagu Led Zeppelin When The Levee Breaks.

Album ni sangat hebat, dengan setiap lagu tersangat sedap. Ada beberapa bahagian slow dan mendayu2 kat album ni dan jugak ada lagu Hold On To My Heart. antara lagu paling tak sangka WASP boleh buat lagu2 cam gini.
Antara lagu aku paling suka dalam semua lagu gerek ni ialah Chainsaw Charlie (Murders In The New Morgue) lapan minit panjang tapi tak rasa, lagu The Idol, dan tentu lagu feberet aku ialah I AM ONE, dan kira semua lagu la. dan semua babak.

Aku suka kumpulan ni, walaupun aku tak ikut satu persatu segala album mereka, dan yang paling terakhir sekali aku minat dan betul2 ikuti ialah Babylon, walaupun pada pendapat aku Blackie Lawless ni ialah seperti agungkan kulit putih dan kalau korang perasan masa video lagu BABYLON IS BURNING, masa part liriks dari Bible "Who Unto The Beast?" video screen belakang keluar gambar President Barak Obama kan? dan tak semua kan rakyat Amerika suka Obama tu kulit hitam dah diragui latar belakang nya, aku pun dah lupa korang gi cek sendiri video lagu tersebut. Jadi kesimpulan aku memang mereka ultra kulit putih.
Tapi seriously aku suka lagu Babylon Burning cuma video screen belakang tu, boleh la buat kesimpulan sendiri tentang pemahaman sebahagian kulit putih seperti kumpulan WASP dan Blackie Lawless sebagai ketua,
ada makna tu video video sejarah tu semua. Yasser Arafat pun ada ok.
Well.....? masing2 nye pendapat ye tak?
Tapi again aku cakap, aku suka WASP pasal lagu dorang gerekkk.

Dan masa aku sekolah dulu, kau tahulah dulu budak2 melayu semua katak bawah tempurung, akronim WASP ialah "We Are Satan People", dan di barat, seperti isteri Vice President USA, Tipper Gore cakap akronim tu ialah "We Are Sexual Perverts" tapi rata rata akronim sebenar ialah "White Anglo Saxon Protestant" yang pada pendapat aku memang golongan ni ialah mereka yang agungkan kehebatan kulit putih.
Memang sangat terserlah.
Aku takkan tuduh kumpulan ni dan Blackie Lawless rasis menjunjung kehebatan kulit putih amerika, tapi cukup aku cakap dorang bukan Bruce Dickinson sebagai frontman Iron Maiden nye cara pemikiran yang sangat universal dan menerima semua.

(korang kena paham ye, aku bezakan ye, aku minat seni mereka, lagu2 dan persembahan kumpulan ni sangat unggul dari aku kecil sampai kini aku minat band ni, tapi pada masa sama aku nilai band ni dari segi pemikiran dan apa yang mereka nak tonjolkan).

Tapi tu mungkin perbezaan zaman dahulu antara band rock Inggeris dan band rock Amerika.
Inggeris mungkin rasanya rakyat mereka secara umum terima semua warna dan kepercayaan manakala Amerika rakyat mereka ada macam "hidup atas pokok", mereka hanya fikir negara mereka saja wujud dalam dunia.

Steve Harris minat West Ham, dia ada tempat duduk sendiri di Upton Park, dan aku pernah jalan kaki dari stesen keretapi di East London sampai ke Upton Park, kiri kanan semua kedai India dan orang India origin. Kedai Alhamdulillah banyak kedai halal, dan kedai jual daging halal, so waktu aku jalan tu aku memang imagine yang memang kumpulan Iron Maiden tak lari dari kehidupan becampur gaul dengan masyarakat berbagai bangsa dan agama.
Memang seronok kalau tengok kawasan Upton Park Stadium tu...
Rasa cam kat Little India je.
Tu la ceritanya, West Ham United gi majlis2 masyarakat India contohnya, kasi tiket untuk tengok game, untuk besarkan fan base dorang, ye la sekarang dah pakai Stadium Olympic London siot.

Balik kepada pemikiran band London macam Iron Maiden, Mungkin, Sebab tu tak kekok untuk Bruce Dickinson atas pentas berbual pasal warna kulit dan sebagainya.
Mungkin Metallica ada berbual pasal famili la apa la, tapi... aku rasa dorang taklah expose kepada kehidupan majmuk di Amerika seperti mana masyarakat am exposed di England.

Ni pendapat aku je la.

Lagi satu keunikan WASP untuk aku ialah, selain dari video2 mereka beraksi di Donington depan penonton2 yang dahsyat ramai berhimpit lagi membakar aku nak gi Donington tapi masa aku nak ulang kaji cammana keadaan Hellfest pasal memang aku langsung tak tahu apa2 dan cammana nak gi sana pun,
aku masih ingat aku ulang2 tengok youtube WASP beraksi di Hellfest, dan aku study video handphone peminat mereka dan aku dapat konfiden suasana peminat masa WASP main cammana keadaan pesta Hellfest, yang aku boleh gi sorang2.

So tu la kalau aku kenang WASP, pada aku mereka jadi reference aku untuk nak gi Hellfest dengan konfiden sorang2 dengan prinsip main rembat je, apa jadi jadilah. hahha.

Gitar kat album ni kalau kat album ni ialah Bob Kulick (abang gitaris Kiss zaman feberet aku akhir 80an awal 90an) dan Doug Aldrich.
Tapi bila dah terbit main live ialah Doug Blair. Aku suka dekni dia keluar masuk Wasp tapi video2 live Donington tu semua dia la, dulu rambut perang2 sekarang hitam kot last aku tengok youtube.

walaupun bertukar organasasi, walaupun dah ada peminat mati pasal berlumpur dan himpitan 107,000 orang berasak,
tapi dari 1980 sejak pertama kali Donington jadi tempat metal dan rock, sampai sekarang.
Lokasi mereka ialah kawasan Blue Collar sangat

Kawasan di mana Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest ((Maiden ialah budak2 bandaraya London dan Ritchie Blackmore dan Deep Purple dari kota2 lain, Roger Glover dari Liverpool sama bandar dengan si Jeff Walker Carcass, pasal masa aku tengok Carcass, Jeff Walker bukak story pasal Roger Glover Deep Purple cakap dorang sekampung)) mulakan segala tok nenek rock dan metal mereka,

jadi tempat Donington tu ialah seperti jantung untuk muzik rock dan metal kerana yang datang setiap tahun ialah peminat2 dari Birmingham, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham dan ni semua ialah kaum masyarakat yang memang kaki rock dan metal.
Aku dah gi dua festival 2013 dan 2016, dan aku tahu Maiden akan headline lagi satu festival sebelum bersara, dan aku nak gi lagi, lengkapkan hat -trick. Banjir lumpur ke, keadaan darurat ke, apa ke, its rock n roll.

OK saje je.. ni ialah video Babylon Rising dari tahun.. entah dah 10 years kot lagu dan album ni..
tapi cek out video screen dia kat belakang dengan synchronisation lyrics nyanyian Blackie Lawless.
apa pun ni antara lagu paling aku suka dari Wasp.
Walau aku kurang suka dengan pemilihan kat video belakang tu..
Tapi WASP ni cubalah buat create fantasy setlist show 100 minit kalau kata dorang main bawah kolong flet blok rumah aku. Impossible kan? Giler banyak sangat lagu sedap yang aku suka ni band.

WALAUPUN AKU MINAT LAGU NI, hebat sungguh lagu2 dalam album Babylon.

Tapi pada pendapat aku, untuk rakyat Amerika yang dimana band ni berasal pun,
yang aku tak nafikan rakyat Amerika antara yang paling "KATAK BAWAH TEMPURUNG" mentaliti mereka, dan pentingkan diri sendiri, dan tindas kulit lain dan agama lain walau mereka ada Freedom Of Speech,
untuk mereka yang minat WASP, tapi nonton video ni,
apa rasa mereka? tengok watak2 kat belakang tu.
So benda2 gini aku suka tengok, untuk aku ni la benda2 cucuk jarum.
Dan jangan keliru, mereka sendiri tak percaya dengan Obama dan soalkan latar belakang nya.

Blackie Lawless ni seorang yang sangat pintar.
Bukan sahaja pandai main muzik, cipta lagu, tulis lirik dan suara sedap giler.
Aku suka giler dia ni actually. haha.

So This is the Remastered Japanese Pressing of the Crimson Idol.
It comes with two cds instead of one.
As usual the Japanese packagings are very cute with the Obi and everything.

Even the story naration of Jonathan text is printed. And even all the Donington live songs from 92 as the lyrics printed. So I post here all the English text.

In summary as I type above in green italic,

-I was talking about why Donington is so special to me having seen Maiden headline there on two seperate years festivals.
-The awesomeness of this Crimson Idol album.
Every song is so special
and the 2nd cd of songs makes this version an amazing collectible.
-The suicide of Jonathan due to his parents attitude towards him.
- A small matter of Babylon Rising song and the video behind it.
I am not agreeable with some of the faces featured among others but I think the song itself is a fabulous song.

Its possible to travel for everyone, nowadays everything is easy and comfortable and if you know how to do it, AFFORDABLE,

So those travelling by yourself can gauge the price on backpacking to some UK places to see your favourite bands play.
Or thise want to travel with your love ones also I think can follow how I did and do my journey for my Maiden UK 2017 trip

Firstly, Glasgow show at the huge amazing dome of SECC was amazing. I think the capacity is 13,000 and I think its full house.
Aberdeen show was beyond amazing, its an all standing set up for the audience and I think its a full house 8,000 show.
Reviews of this shows next time but Aberdeen show has a special touch when Bruce start to mention the names of towns and places near to Northern Scotland I think, and the people around me are so happy.

This is just another example of what Maiden has been extra extra special to many many people all aound the world.
That little human touches here and there.

Travelling around and across Scotland from the southern part to the northern part is very long but beautiful. Its worth the trip,
You see the sea, the fields, the flowers, the beatiful old houses, castles, and fields, and fields, and fields, the mountains and of course the beautiful cows, sheeps, huge horses, cows, cows, sheeps , cows, cows agsin, sheeps, horses, and cows again.

Its like a NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC trip.
I took an express bus from Glasgow to Aberdeen for about 3 hours.
I took an amazing beautfiul sights train travelling for 7 hours from Aberdeen changing trains at Edinburgh, change again at Preston, and now at Liverpool for the first Iron Maiden show in Liverpool since 1990. It will be very very loud on Saturday I am sure.

This trip can be done, and I do find it easy and comfortable, so those of you planning to bring your families for this kind of trip and creating adventures by travelling on your own selfs, OR THOSE ENCOURAGING YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS TO TRAVEL AND EXPLORE AND IN A WAY MAKE THEM A BETTER HUMAN BEING LEARNING ABOUT OTHER PLACES AND CULTURES, should have no problem. ITS SAFE.

UK has a far more advance and comfortable trip for public transport FOR ALL AGES compared to many other places.

Beautiful free roaming cows and sheeps grazing huge huge eternity distance beautiful hills.
I love Scotland scenery. From the south to the north where I manage to pass by.

A bit of Glasgow street scene where I manage to walk thru. Ok Glasgow was easy and I only have to walk everywhere. I slept near the SECC and it takes me a slow walk carrying backpacks haversacks about 25 minutes to reach the city centre where everything is. Buses, trains, food, lots of Halal Food for Muslims and sceneries and wundow shopping.

Aberdeen has this standard colours for buildings,
Beautiful place.
Its again all walking for me.
The harbour, the trains, the buses and the food and malls are again all in one place.

But, to go the AECC for Maiden show, I have to take a public bus, but no worries all is easy and even after the show ends, lots of buses are ready to bring those taking public transport bqck to the central bus station,

Not so in Glasgow, BUT IN ABERDEEN THEY SPEAK A DIFFERENT ALIEN LANGUAGE, BEAUTIFUL, as seen from the signboard above, they have their own.
A BIT LIKE THE MOVIE "braveheart", but I cannot have any idea what they talk about. haha.
FREEDOM!!

P.s I was at Aberdeen, warm up band has completed playing, anyway Shinedown was very good. I have no idea at all about this band but choosen by Maiden to open the UK tour, there must be something Iron Maiden like about them,
And the vocalist is a humble person. He knows their place, they are there like in his own words, for the event of 2017, Indeed.

Anyway, when the Aberdeen crowd is jostling for position waiting for Maiden intro to start,
A group of ladies in what seems working attires crowds near me, and guess what? "THESE LADIES ARE POINTING AT THE IRON MAIDEN LIGHTNING RIGS ON THE ROOF OF THE STAGE AND ANIMATEDLY DESCRIBE THE LIGHTNING RIGS, Yes I dont know exactly their language but there are describing about the lightning rigs which will tilt and all that. THEN THEY TAKE OUT THEIR HANDPHONES AND SNAP THE IRON MAIDEN LIGHTNING RIGS!!!".

now this is why another reason i love to travel to places to see Maiden. Extra ordinary moments like these, and there are many of them.
And surely, Aberdeen is a friends and family oriented shows seems a lot of families young and old, and seems everyone knows each other,
Maybe thats the Scotland way, haha,

And the six new songs from new album? Huge roars same like old songs.

dimana semua orang boleh berdiri, sebab tu masa aku tahu lokasi dia dalam hati aku cakap"abislah ramai ibu bapa tunggu anak2 kat luar nak jemput pulang, mereka yang tentu mati sapa tunggu kat luar dengan pengebom tu", pasal malam tu kan persembahan artis yang peminat semua budak2 pompuan.

Sapa yang keluar paling cepat masa show abis, pasal nak elakkan jam, atau nak balik cepat, dorang yang paling teruk kena.

So aku tahu masa aku kat Bristol (by the way Cranberries cancel kat Bristol, Delores sakit) wassap dari better half aku pasal Manchester Arena kena bom , aku kat UK tapi aku tak follow news, dan aku dah tido la kan pasal aku memang kat UK apa, tu bomb meletup kul 11 malam, aku dah marah2 Cranberries, "weak la Delores, sakit sikit kensel. haha", so aku baca wassap tu "reaksi aku ialah Biar Betik!!"

aku macam... okayyyy aku baru tengok Iron Maiden kat Birmingham 16,000 orang (Birmingham memang dahsyat, memang berdebar ok tengok indoor stadium dia, BAPAK BESAR!! aku ada rakam beberapa video dari tepi nanti aku tunjuk lain kali dan terus terang la kan, Birmingham tempat Hardcore la kan kalau band rock main ni semua.. macam aku cakap Birmingham dan seluruh kawasan Midlands ialah jantung muzik metal dan rock sedunia..) , , dan Liverpool 13,000 orang peminat Iron Maiden (korang tahu tak Bruce buka cerita pasal Liverpool nye team bola, kena boo rabakkk hahaha, nanti aku cerita)

dan memang nak jadi cerita pengebom tu pilih Manchester, mungkin pasal Manchester rumah dia, dan dia dilahirkan di sana so mungkin dia tahu kawasan tersebut dan aku terus macam... oooo kayyy apasal "soft target" orang gi tengok persembahan musik sey... dah tu terang2 show budak2 suka kan? grande ke hapa tu...

yang mati semua budak2 pompuan umur ada 8 tahun je.

Susah nak bayangkan dan nak dianalisakan oleh otak aku tentang cara pemikiran sesetengah orang dan hati dan jiwa mereka.

dan memang suspen apa jadi seterusnya, tapi terus Maiden cakap show dorang macam biasa teruskan, terus aku lega, dan persembahan seterusnya IRON MAIDEN dan jugak yang aku gi tengok selepas pengemboman di Manchester ialah dua hari selepas tu di Cardiff.

Nanti lain kali aku cerita, pergi tengok Iron Maiden main tapi memang nampak Polis bertugas, tapi Police jenis SWAT Team.

Police yang bawak "machine gun""machine gun" gitu bukan revolver.

Memang heran la... nak tengok "Iron Maiden" ada ni semua... nanti la aku cerita ye lain kali...

Nari aku cerita pasal Cavern Club, dan aku gezek satu dua gambo aku snap Iron Maiden atas pentas kat merata tempat aku gi tengok dorang main seluruh UK, dan last sekali aku gezek foto aku gi semayang jumaat kat Liverpool.

Dan... aku terus terang cakap, masyarakat UK rata2 takde masalah ngan orang Islam, orang Islam bebas bergerak dan buat aktiviti tanpa apa masalah, bebas meniaga dan PERNIAGAAN ORANG ISLAM memang top di UK.

Korang bayangkan beribu2 orang dah giler babi tengok Iron Maiden lapar, abis show, apa lagi yang bukak? cuma pub, drinking spot, dan kedai2 majoriti orang Islam yang jual kebab, burger dan sebagainya. Semua pun dengan tshirt Iron Maiden semua serbu kedai2 orang Islam dah kebulur.

Cuma ada beberapa ekor manusia je dalam internet yang taruk racun nak rosakkan hubungan orang Islam dengan bukan Islam, tapi untuk aku, depan mata aku.. Insyallah takde beza.

UK adalah satu tempat yang kita boleh tiru pada aku cara kehidupan berdisiplin dan majmuk mereka (KALAU DORANG TAK MABUK LA!!).

So again aku cakap, beberapa ekor manusia je yang sengaja nak racunkan hubungan dan keruhkan suasana.

Tapi untuk aku... selagi Bruce Dickinson SETIAP MALAM atas stage cakap " We Dont Care What Is Your Religion bla bla bla"... untuk aku peminat2 Iron Maiden semua gerek dan satu hati la satu dunia. Semua mungkin tak dengar apa Politician cakap, tapi apa Iron Maiden cakap, akan dipasang telinga.

Aku memang sedih, korang ingat dua tahun lepas kat Paris kena terrorist attack yang band rock tengah main kan?

OK kau tau tempat tu La Bataclan, setahun sebelum serangan tu aku ada kat dewan tu tengok EXTREME main.

Dan bila terrorist attack tu terjadi dan aku baca laporan2 mula keluar, aku tak tipu, aku boleh bayangkan apa terjadi.. pasal kat mana tu description cakap Terrorist masuk, dan start tembak, dekat situlah aku diri dan tengok Extreme main. Aku diri kat belakang, dekat tempat merchandise jual baju band kat sudut belakang La Bataclan, kat situlah ada pintu kaca masuk keluar. So memang sapa diri situ la first yang kena tembak satu satu jatuh.

Dan band atas stage EODM ingat kat belakang sekali ada orang letupkan mercun kot ceritanya...

Dan memang boleh imejin pasal aku memang betul2 perharikan setup La Bataclan pasal cantik giler masa aku kat sana. tingkat dua ada boleh isi berapa ruang untuk duduk..

bawah semua... hurray hurray all standing La Bataclan. Kalau aku gi Paris lagi, aku nak gi La Bataclan (korang naik mrt sampai kawasan Republique), pay my tributes.

So mungkin orang2 Paris yang hurray hurray keliling aku malam tu masa Extreme main, ialah peminat sama yang mati, ada 50-60 orang mati kan kena tembak malam tu, dan ramai lagi cedera, trauama malam terrorist attack setahun selepas tu.

Ye la, peminat band rock berapa kerat je kan.. orang tu orang tu jugak gi tengok lain2 rock band beraksi.

So memang tak tahu apa nak cakap....

OK Cavern Club, tempat lahir nya Beatles.

Memang orang Liverpool ni "perangai", ada "attitude", boleh rasa lain sangat dengan bandar2 lain.

Budak2 sekolah yang kecik2 pun pakai leather jacket.

Pengsi aje.

OK So aku gi Matthew Street. Aku gi Cavern. Cavern ni kalau tempat bersejarah dan terkenal tu ialah Cavern Club, dan depan dia ialah Cavern Pub, adik beradik la dua tempat ni kat lorong Matthew Street.

Tempat ni ialah kelahiran Beatles dan bakat2 rock n roll British 60an gitu beraksi di sini.

Sampai sekarang tempat ni masih dahsyat,

penuh dari berbagai lapisan umur dari paling muda paling tua semua ada.
Semua mungkin peminat rock n roll British awal 60an terutama diterajui Beatles gitu.

Jadi memang la, macam aku trip backpacking ke seluruh UK ni tengok Iron Maiden, naik bas, naik keretapi...

aku macam pergi trip sejarah... aku berpeluang gi tengok tempat2 Iron Maiden beraksi di zaman awal hingga pertengahan 80an, aku di Bristol aku gi Hippodrome, aku gi Colston Hall, kat Cardiff aku gi ST DAVID HALL.

Ni semua untuk peminat Iron Maiden ialah tempat2 lagenda.

Jadi balik kepada Cavern Club, memang seronok, pergi sana, masuk free kalau siang hari, tapi siang malam pun sama, nak minum boleh minum, tak cukup tangan staff sana supply beer, band main..

ada dua pentas, pentas famous yang serupa gua dan pentas lagi satu, memang dua dua pentas siang hari aktif, memang sentiasa ada bands dan artist rotate kat situ, terutama tengah musim ada sambutan apa entah pasal Beatles.

Memang banyak barang2 memorabilla rock n roll 60an, dan tentunya foto dan barang2 Beatles banyak.

OK, ada dua foto tiga foto aku tampal ni bukan dari Cavern Club tapi dari Beatles Museum di Liverpool pasal untuk tunjukkan betapa keadaan Cavern Club zaman dulu.

Maka lagi sekali aku cakap, Cavern Club ni sangat menarik, maka enjoy foto2..

So backpacking and backpacking and now its at Liverpool to see Maiden plays in Echo Arena Liverpool. What a blockbuster show Maiden put up in Liverpool, Maiden had not played in Liverpool since 1990.

I was in Liverpool for about 3 days on arrival from Aberdeen (What another awesome show in a very intimate 7000 maximum capacity all standing indoor arena)

So 3 days, I got a chance to explore some parts of Liverpool city, and PEOPLE WATCHING.

Liverpool is so very awesome place.

Like I say, the school children wear leather jackets.

They have not move on.

They are still ROCK N ROLL!!!

Attittude people, all the streets are crowded.. a very happening place.

I will tell more about my Liverpool experience next time but now its just Cavern.

I will add a few photos to depict Cavern in the early 1960s, which I took at the Beatles Museum also in Liverpool,

So Cavern has two stages, the other stage is opposite the lane at Cavern Pub.

I was there in the daytime to evening so free entry, the beers are flowing very high capacity demands I notice. I was just observing and absorbing the atmosphere.

The both stages have performers rotating. There was a Beatles celebrations so bands from around the world rotate to pay tribute to the 60s British Rock N Roll and Beatles.

Simply a magical place. Enjoy all the photos. OK on the photo of that second stage with the John Lennon photo on the left, on the right is Paul McCartneys bass... so lots of memorabilla to ogle if you are into these kind of memorabilla stuffs from rock n rollers of all generations at The Cavern Club.

Do make a trip there if you are in Liverpool. Such an amazing place with people seems to have the "rock n roll attitude" city.. I want to find a job there. LOL!!

So Matthew Street, both ends, and along the stretch and the exterior of Cavern Club, and Cavern Pub (the sister establishment face to face to each other) and of course that famous John Lennon statue.

FRIDAY PRAYERS AT LIVERPOOL CENTRAL MOSQUE.

Lets take a break from talking about my backpacking trip walking around exploring cities and places in Scotland, England and Wales and bus and train journeys all over UK watching Iron Maiden on their just simply spectacular and their jaw dropping performances of the just completed UK Tour.
I did not backpack the whole tour but whatever shows I saw, its just that. Simply magnificent performance from the band with a great setlist for this Book Of Soul Tour (Tears Of A Clown dropped for the 2017 part of the World Tour, and swapped with Great Unknown is I thing its a bit slow and it slows down the pacing after a furious start of the show. LOL!! But I really love Tears Of A Clown live renditions on the 2016 shows I saw)

Today I want to tell about the just completed HATS OFF TO LED ZEPPELIN experience I had, just now. I have to agree with all the accolades given to this UK Tribute Band. Best band, nearest to the real thing, and whatever all else.

Lets switch to Bahasa Melayu Malay Language for a while.

Led Zeppelin beraksi kali terakhir tahun 1980, jadi seperti The Beatles, dan Elvis. Kalau peminat nak rasa tempiasnya, nak cuba terokai cammana persembahan2 band ni zaman lampau, maka kena carik tribute performers handalan.
Hats Off To Led Zeppelin ni bukan calang2 nye band, mereka dinobat antara band tribute terbaik di UK selama beberapa tahun, mereka dapat sponsor2 yang tak dapat oleh band tribute lain, mereka disokong dan diberi pujian oleh mereka yang ada nama dan bersangkut paut dengan sejarah Led Zeppelin.

Dan memang, apa aku saksikan, Hats Off To Led Zeppelin memang dahsyat tadi,
Takkan dapat aku rasa tengok Led Zep main, tapi dengan nonton band HOTLZ ni, boleh rasa sikit betapa hebatnya Led Zep beraksi dengan bermacam2 lagu dan lagu dorang pun komplikated giler.
Betapa handal nye pemain2 muzik nya, betapa hebat penyanyi nya.
Dan seronoknya, persembahan tadi di Kallang Theater ni pakai lampu stage yang best giler. Jadi memang persembahan nya menampakkan suasana Gah.
Dan penonton pun semua sporting, aku rasa penuh jugak tadi... berbagai lapisan umur. Semua pun minat Led Zeppelin.

Dan pada aku tengok band ni mendengdangkan lagu2 Led Zeppelin, bak kata Jack Black, the greatest rock n roll band ever, macam mengimbau kembali kehebatan ROCK MELAYU.
Ingat tempat ni kumpulan MAY sambut 25 Tahun mereka beraksi, dan Rusty Blade, Unwanted etc pun main kat sini.
Lagi sekali aku cakap, aku sebagai peminat rock Melayu sangat bangga dengan kehebatan
band2 rock Melayu dari dulu sampai sekarang.
Ada masa untuk Iron Maiden, ada masa untuk rock, dan ada masa untuk jadi peminat heavy metal omputeh dan backpacking Eropah untuk Metal, tapi ROCK MELAYU TETAP DI HATI, dan TETAP DALAM MP3 AKU (contoh bila aku gi Hellfest ,sorang sorang, aku pastikan MP3 player aku semua lagu ROCK MELAYU, ingatkan aku yang AKU NI ORANG MELAYU!!!!!).

So Melayu jangan malu dan terima hakikat dengan kehebatan band rock melayu baik band Malaysia atau Singapore.

paling seronok tengok bassist dia masa persembahan ni tadi, yang sebijik macam John Paul Jones, tukar2 instrumen. Sedangkan Penyanyi dan Peman Gitar memukau penonton dengan aksi dan kehebatan persembahan mereka, tapi pemain bass seperti mana John Paul Jones yang menambat hati aku dengan sumbangan nya pada persembahan ini.
Akhirnya, seumur hidup aku, aku baru dapat rasa cammana nak tengok betul2 cara lagu No Quarter dimainkan live. Tak gua tak nangis, tapi gua sedih... Dahsyat bassist main keyboard dekni, sebijik John Paul Jones.
Drummer tak yah cakap la. Ni John Bonham nye posisi siot dia duduk dan main.

Senarai lagu dimainkan , kalau kata aku yang pilih setlist nak lagu2 aku suka pun mau 4 jam tak abis. Tapi of course kalau aku pilih, tentu banyak lagu slow, dan mesti otak kejong siak show jadi slow down. haha.

Dan banyak giler lagu2 popular dan famous dan disukai ramai, dikenali ramai pun tak dimainkan.
Tapi ok la, Hats Off To Led Zeppelin main dalam 110 minit.
Aku tape show ni dan aku dapat bootleg hebat (sorry ye gua masuk bakul angkat sendiri), tak kuat la volume dia so lain kali aku upload kat youtube channel aku, sapa minat dengar pakai speaker komputer atau soundblaster ke hapa ke).

I will never see Led Zep plays. It is impossible.

So listening to their music, and watching videos of their live performances,
but just now watching Hats Off To Led Zeppelin,
maybe.... just maybe, "I got that just a l,ittle just a little bit" feel of the actual power of Led Zeppelin live.
It must have taken a lot of discipline, talent, practise, hard work to deliver a full Led Zeppelin setlist show.
So like I say, at least I got an idea.
Kashmir was brilliant and rightly receive a long applause.
And at last, I got an idea of how No Quarter is played live and I did not cry. A most beautiful yet Miserable song of all time, this No Quarter.

- So Man Of The Match for me just now is definitely the bassist also keyboardist also Mandolin player.
Though all is amazing performance from whole band.
- The drummer, OMG.
- The singer. (Can Ritchie Blackmore try him out for next year's Rainbow lineup please...I will be there for the first show again, just like in Loreley Germany last year with fans from all over the world, and you have signages indicating Iran fans, so if Iran Rainbow fans is there, surely it means the whole world is represented to salute the return of Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow after 30 years)
- The guitarist. So... if he is that amazing, so how could Jimmy Page playing a full Led Zeppelin show be? LOL!!
Hope to see them again.

Like I say above, if I can request songs, at 4 hrs mark the band is still on stage LOL!!
No Achilles Last Stand, no In The Light, no All My Love, no Tangerine, no Communication Breakdown, no so many. But its not possible with so many songs of Led Zeppelin that I really like.

Thats about it.
